Providence Club

Fairways recently punched so they appear to be letting everything grow out including tee boxes. Cart paths are rough. Greens just okay and not consistent. There are many better choices in the NE area.

great course worth the drive. Recommend this to anyone.

We did unfortunately get behind the men's group they are rather slow this was a 5 hour round which should not happen however I will come back but will make a better effort to be in front of slow play.

First time I played this course in 10 years. Course in good shape (winter course). I had always rated this course as one of my favorites, but I have moved my residence and it is not as convenient as it was 10 years ago. I do enjoy this course. Nice layout.

I fully enjoy playing this course. It had challenges around every hole, whether it is water elevation, length, or undulating greens. The greens however could use a little attention. It was hard to get a true roll, without the ball hopping along the way causing it to veer off line. Overall, I love the course and layout, and will play here again and again.

We tee'd off around 8am and there was a 4 some in front of us that fell behind immediately. Within 2 holes the group in front of them was 2 holes ahead and we had 4 groups waiting on us. The Marshall came by twice and never addressed the slow play..On the 7th whole the Marshall spoke with the slow group and we overheard them complaining we were hitting into them but he never addressed the fact that they were 4 holes behind pace.

If you're going to stack tee times and have Marshall's make them keep the pace of play!!

Fairways are open. Greens well maintained along with the bunkers. Love to play this course.

Only complaint - lack of ranger on course to push the slow group.

Providence Golf Club is an excellent club for a great round of golf. The staff was very friendly, including the grounds crew. The pace of play was excellent and golfers were courteous throughout play. I'd play here again for sure.

For this season, greens were in good shape, semi-fast and rolled pretty true. Some winter bumpiness but overall pretty solid. Even dormant the rest of the course was also in good shape.

I've played Providence many time over the years, it's a great course that's well maintained. The short driving range (no drivers) would be to only negivitive. The new club house remodel greatly enhances the golfs mystique. The Championship Bermuda greens are rock hard and fast making low approach shots impossible to hold the green. We had several great shots run off the back turning bird opportunities into chip and putt for pars. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed my round on the 10th. Shot an 88 which is my best round to date!

Course is always in good condition. Very friendly staff.

I'm a regular at Providence and often play my best golf on this course. The layout is challenging but fair with just the right amount of shot making decisions coming into play. I play from the blues and it allows me to use all of the clubs in the bag. I'd recommend this course to anyone seeking a great round of golf on playable fairways and great putting greens.

The Providence Club is always a good course to play especially because of the price of a round. They constantly have deals on golfnow.

This course is one of my favorites around and Ill make the 45 minute drive any day of the week because of the layout. They have a variety of holes, particularly a multiple of risk/reward holes. Theres a very drivable downhill par-4 thats fun to pull driver on. Number 4 is a par-4 that doglegs left over water, so the braver you are, the more water you can cover, and get closer to the green or maybe on the green! Lots of varying distances on the par-3's and most of the par-5s can be reachable in 2. There is quite a bit of OB though throughout the course due to the neighborhood but overall I really like playing this course. Love the variety and risk/reward holes!

This golf course will present you with challenges due to the narrow fairways and many water hazards on the front 9. The rough is just that, ROUGH. The green roll at a comfortable pace, not too fast and not too slow. The pace of play was average. I played with a group of four and it took us 4hrs 20 minutes to complete the round and this included stopping at the snack bar after the first 9 holes. This is a wonderful course with a variety of golf challenges being presented throughout the course. Very well done.
