Don’t play here until carts replaced
This was a good golf course until the golf carts quit holding a charge and you have to get 2-3 new carts during your round. This is not acceptable. My husband and I were left stranded by our golf cart on hole 18 which is a huge hill from the time you tee off until you complete the hole at the peak. We had to carry golf bags, drinks etc up the entire hill. Sad thing is we were not even offered a discount on next round of golf, free round of golf, nothing. Obviously, they do not care about their customers nor the hassle they have to endure. I work everyday and have to solve life and death problems… last thing I want to have to do is figure out how I’m going to get my clubs and myself up Mt. Everest on the weekends when I’m trying to relax and enjoy a round of golf. To be honest, if this were a gas powered cart, this wouldn’t be an issue. Another thing the government got their hands into and screwed up! Batteries don’t last!! Fuel does!!

Hills hills and Hills
Tee to green in great condition. Some forced Carries on tee shot. Playing again tomorrow
Great course, bring your own electric golf cart
This is a very hilly course with some great views, some easy holes and some difficult holes. If it is your first time playing here make sure you drive up to the top of a hill to see what is on the other side before striking your golf ball.
Be prepared for a long round of golf as my playing partner and I had to use four golf carts because the batteries are so old and cannot hold a charge. It takes 10 to 20 minutes for the staff to bring you a new cart, they are very friendly, but make sure you have a good cell signal on your phone so you can call the pro shop to get your cart replaced
Poor OLD golf carts
Supposedly from the volunteer staff, this park is run by the department of natural resources, who fails to maintain adequate charging of the carts. The carts are three years old and barely hold enough charge to get through a round. Two of the guys in our foursome had their cart, die at the 16th hole, as well as another foursome that we saw playing. I was just about died and barely made it up any hills..
Tough but fun
First time playing this course and some of the tee shots are very challenging as the player faces water obstacles or at times large ravines they need to overcome. Staff were somewhat lukewarm but by no means rude. The couse itself was in decent shape, but it seemed like there was a need for some work around the greens and some of the fairways as there were several weeds visible and large unfilled divots. Pace of play was the worst part of the experience because I had to wait a while on the group in front of me then rush my shots because the group behind me would be on the previous green already before I could tee off. I later heard others at the clubhouse complain about the same issue saying it took the fun out of it to have to wait 20 minutes after finishing a hole.
Great hilly course .
Fun course to play . Just check your golf cart battery. Might have to swap it out at the turn.
