Not a bad course, they’ve came a long way from where it what’s the greens are much better

I read other reviews before purchasing a tee time here, but took a chance. I have to say the course was in much better shape than many of the other reviews mentioned. Credit to the guys in charge for greening up the tee boxes and taking care of the fairways and greens. For the price it’s definitely one of the best values in the area and by summer should be a great course to play. My only complaint would be the condition of the bridges on the course. Because of the layout, players on a different hole will cross a bridge that will rattle incredibly loud while you’re playing on a different hole.

Henderson is getting better as the weather improves. Traps are maintained but greens are a little spotty and some tees need grass.

Keep it up and the course will be one to play all summer.

Have played pga courses and other less popular courses. The staff were all excellent. The other golfers on the course could give proper etiquette lessons to many others at more affluent courses. My wife and I truly enjoyed the day. We are members of a private club in Virginia, and while the overall condition of the course may be slightly below the private clubs I would caution the golf snobs to not be so critical. This is indeed a fine challenge of golf.

Nice course for the price. No frills , but staff wad excellent, friendly and accomodating.

Overall ok. Tough coming thru the winter months. Greens looked like leopards. Spotty and space in areas. Bumpy. Tees need some love. Fairways looked mowed since last played. Hope to see improvements.

It's been a long time since I've play this course, and it will be a long time until I go back. Can't complain about the rates. You can usually find a tee time for under $20, but the course needs some work. Tee boxes were just about dirt, and you almost needed a hammer to stick your tee in the ground. Some bunkers were raked, but most were hard and full of rocks. On some holes, a good tee shot in the fairway is rewarded by ending up on a dry dirt patch in the middle of the fairway. This place started going downhill a few years ago, and nothing has changed.

Henderson continues to get better overall but sometimes the lack of a marshall slows the pace down drastically. Course is fun to play and will always be a go to in Savannah area.

I’ve played Henderson many times but not lately since reviews and previous rounds showed poor maintenance. I was very surprised at the improvements on my recent round.

Traps are raked and maintained and there are cart signs and roping to keep those who can’t stay on a cart path from wearing out the areas around the greens and tee boxes. The grass hasn’t come in 100% yet and some tee boxes are a little thin but overall I was very surprised and cause me to return soon.

It may be the season but the course conditions need a lot of work. Tee blocks, fairways and greens, playable just not as good as it could be.

The greens were in good condition although a bit of work was needed on some of them. Course condition was typical for this time of year.

Henderson Golf course is improving its conditioning and play ability. i have always loved the layout.

It's always fun to have an opening par 5 and 18 is a beast

par 4. It reminds me of 18 at TPC Sawgrass. Water down the entire left side. The big difference is no bail out to the right. Lots of really good golf holes. Cost to fun ratio is off the charts.

I haven't played Henderson in a number of years due to relocating but it is well worth the money to play. Fairways and greens were in good shape. A couple of tee boxes need some maintenance but overall a great place to play. I will go again soon.

If you haven't noticed most golf courses are failing due to less play and with that said less revenue.

for what you will pay here its well worth it and i look forward to this one making the cut on its limited budget.
