Really really not good tee to green. Tees are fair, fairways are burnt and sparse but overall just bad course conditions.

The course is in really bad shape. Fairways burnt and sparse. Bunkers were unplayable, many were blue staked. It had some neat holes but conditions were really bad.

Proshop and grill were nice and the staff was friendly.

Course in horrible condition. Really unplayable. From tee to green not good. Shame because it’s a wonderful design. I played the SMGA tees. 6200 which good. Hope the put some money in or I see this course not surviving

One of my favorite courses in Savannah. Sad to say it was in horrible shape. Will not be wasting 45 dollars to play here again until they start taking better care of the course.

It’s always better to end with the good. Fairways on most holes was thin, too thin for this time of year. The greens were very bumpy and could be recovering from recent aerification. The pin location posted was incorrect causing me to over/under club several times. When there was good grass on the fairways it was cut too high. It had recently been cut and obviously a long time between cuts with dead grass lying everywhere.

They are trying to improve the cart paths by breaking up the concrete where there are large breaks. They are working on some traps and mark those under repair with blue stakes. This enabled me to aim for them on some holes and still be in good shape. They have new carts which replace the worn out, old ones.

I enjoy the layout and the staff is friendly but I was really surprised by the conditions this time. Hopefully they will improve for the rest of the season.

The staff was wonderful, the greens are useless. Between the lack of grass, and weeds, the greens are more like putting on a sand zen garden than green. They were rolling the sand when we were out there which was interesting, but honestly they need seed and water desperately. We played auto two putts because the greens were honestly that bad. Other parts of the course are in desperate need for repair also, water fills 3/4 of the bunkers and even the tee boxes need grass and seed. The layout of the course is great if they put some money into it, I would consider coming back.

The course was in great shape, staff was friendly and food and drinks were top notch.

The course layout is really nice and the staff was very friendly but the the course itself was not in the best condition. Many of the bunkers were being repaired and so we're free drops. much of the fairways one the front nine had patches of no grass. If you find it on a hot deal for around 30 dollars it's a good choice. Avoid at full price

love the course, but that friday as parts of the weekend sucks. $50.00 is to much. $35.00 mon - friday and 45.00 on the real weekend, these are fair prices for SB. right now henderson golf course is charging $35.00 plus tax. in short if, you lower the price they will return. thanks, a use-to-be happy customer.

Course is very dry. Greens are ok but fairways and tee boxes are rock hard from lack of water. We haven’t had much rain in quite a while but the course should be watering and if they are it sure doesn’t show. There is little to no grass on the fairways in many places and it makes good shots difficult. Some of the fairway bunkers are not being maintained either. I have really enjoyed this course in the past but to pay $50 to play on a Saturday and bring a friend to a “nice” course this round was a little disappointing.

At one time this was a nice golf course but it has gone down hill recently. The layout is still good and the fairways have some grass but it’s very dry and hard. A shell of what it used to be which is a shame.

This was obviously a a well thought out layout by Rees Jones that has become laughable. It is the worse conditioned course I've played in decades. Visiting Savannah with friends and wanted to get a round in. Paid $49 and was maybe worth $15. I'm with the previous reviewer, if I owned property on that course, I'd be livid. Run, don't walk-this experience sucks out loud.

This course is a disaster. Should close until “playable”. A real dig track. We quit after 5 holes. Didn’t go into clubhouse to complain. Worried about being arrested after I vented. Even cart paths were a disaster. I’ve seen cow pastures in better shape.

Could not believe how BAD this course has gotten! The conditions are horrendous and it’s obvious the owners don’t care anything about maintaining or improving the course. It’s so sad that this was once the second or third best course in Savannah! I feel sorry for the homeowners as I’m sure this course brings down the property values. The owners and staff should be ashamed that the course is even still open for play - it’s that BAD!!!

The course itself is not in the best shape. It’s mid April and you would think that the course was over-seeded in the winter and was already growing new grass. That is not the case at all. The course looks like it is dying. Multiple bare spots on the greens and the fairways are more like a cow pasture with multiple weeds throughout. I really can’t complain too much as I played 18 holes with a cart for $14. The course has tons of potential but needs a lot of work. I was not sure if the bunkers were bunkers or water hazards. Overall, I would play it again but there are better courses in the area for better prices.
