Southbridge Savannah Golf Club

The guys in the pro shop were some what cordial, but not welcoming or friendly. I've had much better experiences with the staffs at other courses here in the Savannah area. The course itself is a great championship layout. The fairways and greens are well maintained. Plenty of tees to choose from to match your skill level or preference. Pace of play on a Tuesday afternoon was outstanding. With the hot deal price through Golf Now it's a great value. I recommend this course to others looking for a good round of golf.

Lots of well placed traps. Lots of doglegs. Andulated. Heavy on course management. Lots of fun rather than a grip and rip approach.

The course meanders through a secluded estate home neighbourhood, where every hole is secluded from the other holes. You feel like you are the only people on the course, very nice feeling. Challenging but very playable for all skill levels, with greens that are very well maintained. We will definitely play here again.

Played the course on a perfect early March aft. Course was full, and no ranger or marshal to be had. Groups teeing off before us with times that were scheduled 20 minutes after us. Course and greens were as hard as a rock and shouldn't be for this time of year. Cart paths were rugged to drive on. Having said that, with an infusion of capital into the golf course, it would be a pleasure to play. It is a great layout, a challenge for me and fair for my wife, a high handicapper.

I had played this course over 20 years ago, it has gotten old, it is a good layout, but up keep is down. Don't know if they don't have the money or not. Use to be a top course. I would play it again. Greens were good which is a plus, the pace was slow as I was a single playing behind the SSU golf team. Not the courses fault.

Course was in great shape for this time of year, fairways were awesome. some of the bridges need repair, greens were in good shape only to get better. 2 or 3 holes were missing their number and info plaques. Very enjoyable and can't wait to play again.

Nice course and clubhouse. This is spring time golf and the course is in good shape.

Tucked away on interstate 16 SouthBridge Golf Course is a tremendous place. The layout is is challenging and I would recommend it to everyone. Staff and amenities are fantastic.

The course was damaged by Hurricane Matthew, however, talking with the greens keepers, they are working hard to get it back to A-1 shape.

perfect day, a little over cast, very fast greens.

Always look forward to playing a new course and Southbridge did not disappoint. Having played a number of Rees Jones design layouts this one was equally enjoyable with the elevated greens and over-sized green side bunkers on a number of holes. Given the time of year the course was nicely manicured (didn't need to roll a ball) as well as bunkers. Was well worth the 30 minute ride.

Southbridge is a pretty nice course. It was my first time playing as i just moved to Savannah and I avoided it since they were redoing the greens. Well the wait was worth it. Plenty of smooth grass in the fairways, and the greens and bunkers are exceptional for any course let alone a public one in this price range. Cart Path is ROUGH but I plan on walking next round anyways.

The course is located close to historic Savannah and other courses in the area. The course was in good shape but we found it to be a bit boring, looked like so many other courses in the South. They tried to make it interesting adding elevation to the greens where they would have been flat otherwise. There were a few fun holes, but for the price we paid, not scenic or interesting enough. Would not play it again unless the price was better.

Worth the trip from hurricane ravaged HHI, but not an everyday excursion. A much better course than Rose Hill in most quality rating factors ... and better traps, greens and fairways than Pinecrest. No prepared breakfast foods or off the shelf muffins, etc. Overall, it's definitely a4+ venue.

Worth the trip from HHI. Solid 4 of 5 in all golf course rating factors, maybe a 4.3 or 4.4 when it comes to conditions. No breakfast foods a problem.

Booked hot deal round for wife and I while in Savannah. Course layout was a bit strange as we rode for a LONG time to get to 1st tee box. Pace of play was good though after we skipped one hole to bypass a 4-some that didn't understand allowing a 2-some to play through. Was a Sunday round and far more folks were in clubhouse for football than golf which seemed a bit strange. Lots of "interesting" lies with lots of mounds and undulation in fairways. Wife enjoyed short ride and quick play.
