Read tge reviews and was pleasantly surprised. While the cart paths were indeed in need of repair, the course was very challenging and in above average condition for the end of Feb. Every hole was different and the greens were slick and fast but rolled pretty good. Would definitely play again....but maybe wait another month or so. A very good value

Medium wide golf course that I was able to play at about my handicap the first time around. The next time around similar story. There is very little hidden trouble. The length of the course didn't seem too long. I describe myself as a medium length hitter of the ball. 4 handicap. Plenty of challenges out there, but nothing unreasonable comes to mind. Fair fun golf course. The practice green was just resurfaced late last year and is not a good indicator of the rest of the course. Look forward to playing it again. It isn't as flat as most courses around here.

Very nice. I will go back the next time I am in town. A lot of rain the day before, and course was in pretty good shape.

Normally a very enjoyable course, but the drainage is horrendous, don't play after the rain!

The greens were in bad shape, so were the tee boxes. The maintenance crew needs to step up there efforts on maintaining the beauty of the course, the course layout I liked it should of been better maintained.

Well maintained course. Staff works hard to make sure you enjoy your outing . Our foursome had a beginner and several skilled players. Everyone was challenged during our round. Will play again soon.

Excellent golf course. Decent shape but some problems with green surfaces and the cart paths are bone rattling!

We were a twosome and were told when we checked in that we were playing behind an outing. We were told it would be slow. To our surprise we played the front in 1 hr and 45 minutes and the back in just under 2 hours. The rangers did an excellent job of keeping things moving.

Front 9 very hilly and challenging. Need pull carts for walkers. Very nice and accommodating staff. Fun course!

This course is visually amazing. The changing scenery and layouts of the holes are nice. There is inconsistency with the types of grasses used both on the fairway and the greens. Unfortunately the course holds a lot of water after a rain or heavy watering. Also the Range was closed probably due to the wet conditions. Finally the tee box marker placement was comparable to the ability of a 3rd grader.

Course was pretty much under water so it was 90 degrees and that wouldn't have been so bad except for the cart paths being so tore up. Also, greens had just been punched but nobody mentioned anything about that at time of booking. Overall it's a good course and would play it again but it needs some fine details fixed.

overall conditions of the course we're pretty good. Greens were nice, some large, undulating. Tee boxes were decent, fairways nice. Several blind hazards. Bunkers flat out awful.
What I didn't care for was one of the cart boys smoking right in front of pro shop.
Very unprofessional, but he could have cared less, almost flaunting it. He couldn't have been 18 yrs. old.
I liked the course, but do think the staff could use a course in golf etiquette.

Staff not friendly at all, especially the bar staff...downright rude, simply put. Pro shop almost baren. Facilities old and tired. Did play with a member who was very nice and helpful around the course. Greens in good shape but the course was very worn and not well maintained. The bunkers...well let's just say they were more akin to sess pools full of muddy water. The embarrassed member said that the course was trying to raise funds and had been working on the course. Hope they get some soon. My advice is to skip it for many reasons. Plus they charged as much as the Wilmington Island Club which is literally 100 times nicer.

I have to say... The overall condition is not bad. The greens are very good and fairways are good. I love the feel of the course and it has a nice layout. But... The bunkers need some serious work, they are very depressing. And as far as the "kids" at the pro shop, well management needs to step it up and train them better so they are more corteous and approach customers a little better. For example, make people feel welcome instead of like we are interrupting them from something, quite annoying.

As far as the pace goes... It is not too bad. I have played here twice, now one time I finish in less than 3 hrs. But the second time it took way too long. Too much waiting.

But for the price I paid on GolfNow I would go here few times a month with no problem.

We read the reviews on most of the local courses, we decided on South Bridge and we were extremely pleased with this facility. Next time we are in Savannah we will play this course again.

This is a very nice course, especially for the money and not far from the Savannah airport. Greens had ben aerated, but the fairways, tees and bunkers were all in good shape (one important note- torrential downpours had filled a number of them with standing water).
For some reason, the concrete cart paths are the worst I have ever seen. It looks like they are starting to re-pour new ones, and it doesn't affect play, but be sure to use a cover on your drink.

This was an excellent course. While it is not extremely hard, it is definitely no walk in the park either. The only reasons I didn't rate it 5 stars is because: 1. They were working on the greens and the sand slowed them down considerably. 2. On the back 9, I got caught behind this foursome that played extremely slow and would not let anyone play through. Besides that, I think it is an excellent course. The overall upkeep is good and I plan to come back soon.
