I'd play again for $30

Course was fun and in pretty good shape. Never saw a cart girl or really hardly any golfers out there...on Sat afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. We did stop in the bar at the turn and the bartender was awesome.

long part fours

Greens were slower than normal and a little rough. Practice green in bad condition. Course plays to 6200 from blue white combo tees with long part 4 and 5's

Getting Up&Down in Savannah

Okay so I made a short drive down I-16 from Statesboro to check out the golf that Southbridge had to offer. It's located in the center of what seems like a beautiful and established community right on the outskirts of Savannah, and when I arrived the staff was more than accommodating. The course was definitely in good shape and the price point could not have been better. I do have to say it lost a star for a couple reasons. I went out the day after rain so I was expecting a wet course, but this course would benefit 100% from better drainage. The practice chipping/putting facility is laughable at best, but I'll give them a pass for having a fairly large driving range with greens for target practice. Lastly, you have to drive the cart several time through their neighborhood community and a few more arrows could be helpful along the cart paths. So if you live in the area or are passing through Savannah for vacation, I'd recommend you giving it a whack. Just remember to bring a rangefinder or purchase a yardage book in the clubhouse before your round!

Worth it

Well designed challenging course with large to medium sized greens that were in very good condition. Played from the tips and I'm a medium length hitter and felt like the course played fair. Not a bombers wide open type of course. It has rained about four days ago. Course was firm and fast tee to green. Greens crew was out working on the bunkers. Good course for the price paid

Course Was A Pleasant Surprise

Played Southbridge on the way to the Masters practice rounds. We sort of picked this course in the blind, but we were pleasantly surprised. The fairways and greens were in very good condition for this early in the year. The overnight in Savannah was lots of fun. We will do this again!

Excellent value

Only complaints are some holes not well marked, cart path needs replacement. A very fun track with progressive difficulty. Very much enjoyed it.

Great course. Fun round.

This was my first time playing this course and I really enjoyed myself. So much so that I booked another tee time for the same time next week. The course is in good shape and facilities are accomodating. I look forward to getting back out there and would highly recommend this course to all in the area.

undulating course! get ready for an adventure!

Lots of hills, and plenty of calming atmosphere to get lost in. The clubhouse has an excellent bar and grill, and a great place to go to church on sunday, and then hit the greens!

Horrible conditions - needs major rehab

I played this course the day after it had rained. This course does NOT drain well. It was "cart path only" and the paths were in horrible shape!!! The cart I was given was a death trap. The steering was very sloppy. Combine that with the needlessly winding & broken cart paths and you've got quite a thrilling carnival ride. Not what I was looking for.

Good Despite the Water

Considering there had been five inches of rain in the few days before I played, the course was in descent shape. Some of the bunkers had turned into water hazards and fairways into bogs. There are lakes and bunkers all over the place but the fairways and greens are generally spacious. It's a good place for a 90's shooter like me cause you don't have to be prefect to score.
