Great layout but currently the course is underwater. I think it will be better when they can actually get out and work on it. I will give it sometime before I go back.

Worst course I’ve played in years. I play a lot of municipal golf courses and this was by far the worst. The greens were 90% sand and the fairways and tea boxes had 2 to 3 inch blades of grass which is equivalent to a heavy rough. If the course was actually maintained, it would be a great course and fun layout with the technical shots and trees on both sides.

The course has been let go terribly.

The greens are basically NOT green’s worst I have ever seen

Fairways cut in stripes with ridges between cuts where the mower missed

First cut just like a pasture.

Bunkers unraked flat hard packed sand some with grass growing.

Full Price still being charged

Very sad, could be a nice track

Staff and club house very nice though.

Strange pricing though cheaper to buy 2 x 9 holes than 1 x 18 holes !

Think I will avoid for a year to see if it improves

Paid around $50 to play and the course overall was ok but the greens was so bad it was almost unplayable not even one green was in good condition and for the price they’re charging is unbelievable. I’ve play there many time and I’ve never seen it like this.

Layout is nice. But greens are completely lost. Can’t believe fees are not discounted more heavily. Would hate to be a member here.

Rest of course is very rough around the edges. Many different grasses in fairways.

The greens were so bad they were unplayable some were literally just dirt dont waste your time or money it was so bad I quit keeping score after the 4th hole I've played $10 courses with better greens

First time playing Southbridge. Easy check-in. Got a bucket of range balls for $7.50. Got paired with two other gentlemen for our round. The tee boxes and the fairways were in good condition. The greens, however, need HELP! Some of the greens you probably could not call greens. The course pro shop did have a message on their door that said their greens had been damaged due to the storms, but I'm not sure which storms they were mentioning. Helene was almost a year ago and the winter weather we had was back in January. The head groundskeeper needs to get these greens in better playing condition.

The tee boxes are not great. The fairways are ok. The greens are atrocious. I mean, it's like playing plinko. Nothing goes in the direction you putted. It makes it impossible to keep score because you have no idea if your putt was good or not and it only goes in based on luck. At any distance. It's a shame because the people in the clubhouse are awesome. But the course just isn't. Not even for $30.

The course lost all 18 greens. Very disappointed in the course at the rate of $60 per round.

They must have lost their greens recently. All of them were 1/2 sand, and in pretty bad shape.

The rest of the course was great though. Staff was fantastic, tees/fairways/bunkers were all in great shape. Loved the layout and it was a fun course. If I’m back in the area I would definitely play it again, hoping their greens have recovered.

There’s a sign in the pro shop that says the greens were affected by a winter storm … that’s not wrong there horrible and what about the rest of the course was it affected by a winter storm??? BEWARE HORRIBLE CONDITIONS

The greens on 15 holes were horrible! I would not waste my or money playing here again!

The course layout is great. I wish I could say the same about the conditions of the greens.... Every green except maybe 2 looked like you're hitting out of a bunker (even though punched mid June). The course condition other than the greens was flawless, so I'm not sure where the disconnect is... This is not the first time I've experienced the greens being awful at this club. I came this season to play it and was just as terrible as it was in the past... The course has serious potential, but the greens are refund worthy. I've played this course numerous times over the last 10 years, and the last 2-3 years have been poor quality greens. I would not recommend the course to locals, even at a hot deal rate.

The greens were atrocious. Staff said the snow/freeze this past winter did the damage. They were rotted from the run off and barely any grass except for #6.

I’ve played this course multiple times and have always enjoyed the course layout. It’s a really decent track and makes you use most clubs in the bag. But today….the greens were absolutely TERRIBLE!!! The worst greens I’ve ever seen, i could understand if a storm or natural occurrence caused but this is solely because neglect. These greens were not being aerated; i could’ve accepted that. This was pure neglect. Second issue occurred at the turn. My buddy wanted a snickers but since the bar didn’t open until 10am, he couldn’t have it. It was literally right behind the register and they wouldn’t sell it to him. Even when he offered to pay double. I’m not sure why you book early tee times if you don’t expect anyone to want anything at the turn at 9. You’d have to pay me to play here again. Fire the management and especially the greens keeper…
