Fox Creek Golf Club

A great little course that provides some challenging shots of all varieties!

Fox Creek is absolutely the best value in Atlanta. You can get on this course for under $30 with cart, it is a terrific driving range, and is only 5 minutes up the road from me. When I don't feel like driving out to Cobblestone or City Club Marietta and paying $60 a pop, Fox Creek it is. The course is way nicer than you might expect from a local public, almost everyone is friendly, and it'll just be a great experience. Previous reviews are correct in that on a couple holes you should be ready to duck, but overall this is a fantastic place to practice and a solid place to play.

The course in manicured and maintained well. I always enjoy playing here and my three first time guest we're well pleased. With the quality of the course ant the price.

Grass could have used a cutting. Green in decent shape looks like the last person that mowing had a tough time with the blades.

Close to my work, pass it everyday so I thought I'd give it a try. It's par 62 so I knew it would be short and I did play on a weekend so I knew it would be packed. What I didn't know was a 3 1/2hr for the front nine!!! I have played over 200 rounds of golf and it has never been this slow. It wasn't just cause of a group or two they packed the course out, and were letting groups of 6 to play! I will not play here again, got a rain check for the back nine if anyone wants it. Course is prob fine during the week, but stay clear on the weekends!!

They have put a lot of work into renovating this golf course and it shows. I have been playing this course several times a year for over a decade and it used to be a dump, but it is quite nice now. The greens are in great shape, there is a new sand in the bunkers, and the wooded areas have been cleaned of all the underbrush and garbage that prevent you from finding wayward Tee shots. However, this golf course is still dangerous. There are a lot of beginners out there, and the holes often run adjacent to one another with little wooded buffer between them. Be prepared to take cover a few times.

Over the past year or so, this course has done a lot to upgrade the quality of the course and it's facilities. They've redone the clubhouse, improved the cart paths, removed a lot of unnecessary and unfair trees and some holes, and the greens are in really good shape for a little public executive course. They've even build a very cool gazebo with an outdoor TV and very comfortable seating area. I spent a Tonna time of this place and I'm thrilled at what they've done with it over the past year. The staff are really great and try to be as efficient as possible. Really good value for the money

Slow drizzle all day made it a prefect afternoon. Extremely clean surroundings and friendly staff thats willing to accommodate reasonable requests. Very nice executive course and very challenging on certain holes. Will be back!

I've played this course several times and usually enjoy it, however today was not that day. The Marshall didn't do his job in managing the drunks and the cart girl was happy to keep close to their side. You would be ready to tee off and there they are headed directly at you in their carts yelling all the way. They were loud and and constantly hitting into players on adjoining fairways. I never had an experience like this, not sure if I'll be back, but if I do it won't be on a weekend.

Was grouped with three other players of better skill set so I was challenged to keep up with them in terms of ball striking.

We enjoyed the course but did run into some pace of play issues with the twosome ahead of us. Nevertheless, we moved through reasonably well once they found their rhythm.

Only complaint is the proximity of tees to greens on certain holes. I nailed a cart on the back nine with my tee-shot and it was only ten yards off the green! Fortunately, the occupant was not hit! Recognizing this is more my issue than the course, I would prefer to have a little more space between the two.

The greens were in good shape and I could see the obvious improvements they have been adding. I like playing here because I can really work on my iron play!

I had a great 1st experience at a Fox Creek GC. Trent in the pro shop was super helpful and flexible. Greens and fairways looked great - definitely got more value out of it then the price I paid.

Course it's fine ive played here many times but every time I seem to play I wait at least additional hour or more while playing. I had a foursome and in front of me a onesie behind me and I was a onesie, I think they could be better. People up to make a course move faster. Very very slow and left at 9 because it took 3 hours to play 9 holes.

Course was in great condition and even though it was crowded pace of play was good. I would play it again it's a good course to work on your irons and short game. I would recommend to friends.

Website states beautiful Bermuda greens. More like shag carpet with a healthy dose of weeds, slowest greens in the state. It's an executive course so I understand things are tight, but a round here shouldn't take four hours. I jumped on as a single, was paired with two other singles and we spent the entire morning putting the green we just finished for ten plus minutes because of how backed up it was. There are no marshals, no one to speed up play, course maintenance going on at 11 in the afternoon on a Friday? Disorganized to say the least. Found a gun in the bathroom someone was careless enough to leave behind. Overall just sad experience.

Some co-workers and I work about 3 miles from this location and head there once a week after work to play. I have played here for over 20 years. It's reasonably priced, the owners are investing money in making the course better. It had fallen into a pretty sad state up to about 4 years ago but it is making a comeback. This course is located close to the new Braves stadium and there are very few golf options in the area. This course gets a lot of play so it will be hard to really improve it more.

It is a short course but really challenges shot making and short game. Scoring low here requires a good deal of skill.

The course looks much better since the new ownership in the past year.

Looking forward to seeing the clubhouse when it is completed!

Always a good time playing, even on weekends when the pace is slow.
