Great place for a quick round
This is a par 62 but still challenging. If you don't have 4.5 hours for a round come play here.
Extremely Slow Play
I hadn't played the course for a long time.
The pace of play was terrible. I asked a ranger to help with the beginners in front of us and he basically didn't do anything about the issue. We paid for 18 holes and gave up after 9.
The fairways were weedy and the greens weren't much better.
Solid Executive Course
Solid executive course for the cost. The greens were well maintained. The fairway was slightly long in some areas, but overall, pretty good. The only downside was that some of the tee boxes were miserable. A few had little to no grass and one consisted mostly of sand. The course was a good value and would play again.
Fox Creek March
Beautiful day. Course almost empty after a league finished. In spite of this being late winter the greens roll very well. Very enjoyable round. I pared number 8 which has never been easy for me. Try it you will see. They have very nice new carts and the staff was very helpful.
Jmitch
We waited an hour and fifteen mins. Past our tee time to get a cart which is pretty terrible. However the course was in great shape. I will play it again because it was the day after thanksgiving however it should not be an hour and fifteen min. Wait for a cart when u make a tee time
Short corse
This course is perfect for a quick round of golf. It has many par 3's I think about 10. And one par 5. The par for the corse is 62. Fun little course
Great course
This is a great course to tight up your short game. The greens are in great shape
Great iron course
What a great place to go and work your irons. Play this course once a month and your game will improve. The holes are long enough to challenge you tee shots but offer an excellent opportunity at approach. It's a great value for the money. The staff will treat you better than most courses. You can get in and out in about 3 hours. I passed by this course several times. Once I went in and played, I wished I'd played them sooner.
It's fairly short, fun and a great value. You got to try it. tell them Ed Heck sent you...... Enjoy
After work
Something to do to work in your short game. Small fairways and dry grass with very little break. Good course to walk and work on your irons. Hole 16 you can drive the green
Good for the size and Money!!
I caught a $20 deal. It's an executive course so, mostly par 3's but there are a few holes that are 4's. They keep up the grounds well. Fox and Legacy both have good practice facilities and greens. This is my go to due to the distance from me and the money. I play just about every weekend and the money can add up, so I usually stop by here for one round.
Small course Decent shape tee boxes and greens
Good for a quick round but mostly par 3,s. Not much of a clubhouse. Great to take a child and has good driving range
Great experience
I played this course for the first time in 10 years. The condition of the course was great. The greens had been aerated a few weeks ago, but the grass had already grown in and the greens were in great shape. The course is a great value for the money. The pace of play was a little slow, but we expected that on a Sunday morning in the summer. Great course!
Executive Course
I think this is a great course for the average golfer. Since it's an executive style course, the holes are shorter.
nice practice facility
Greens are small but in good shape. The rest of the course is pretty rough. Take a hammer to get your tee in the ground.
"Not at all impressed..."
As far as executive courses go, this course was slightly less than average.
Positives: Ample number of Par 4s, drive-able holes for long hitters, pace of play was great (1st group out), starter was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Most greens in poor shape, cart paths were in "terrible" condition!
After about the 5th hole, I had decided that I would not play here again. Probably a good course if you are a beginner or looking for a course close to home. Fortunately, I got a discounted rate on Golf Now. Would never consider paying the non-discounted rate to play here.
Quality, if taken for what it is
One of nicer 'executive' courses I've played. Short, lots of par 3s, but got to pull out driver/3w on 7 holes. Greens faster than expected and roll pretty true. Not pristine conditions, but a great course great for beginners (some are out there) or to help hone your short iron game. Will go back.
Fun little executive course
It's a great course if you're looking to get in a quick round. Didn't have to pull out my driver much. Greens are in good shape and the driving range is very good. Fun place to play.
Cart Paths need improvement
Unfortunately, the cart paths here are in dismal shape. Most, not all, of the paths really need to be dug up and repaved. The bumps and holes are very bad. If you go more than a couple of mph, you will be knocked around. It may be tree roots that cause the paths to rise up like speed bumps, but whatever, it makes travel around the course unpleasant.
