Surprisingly impressive
For late winter, the course was in remarkably good shape. I was actually shocked at the crowd for a Wednesday morning. And that I feel, was mainly to blame for the delayed play.(Not terrible though)
Overall I thought it's pretty well designed, and would like to play here again when the course is in tip top shape. Not very long, but the mix of a number of tight fairways and blind tee shots, make it slightly challenging and a lot of fun. Especially for beginners like me. 👍

Course has a fun layout, but the conditions have been let go over the years. I noticed the greens have Poana growing in which means the superintendent probably did not use any pre-emergent. Hopefully they will fix some of the areas and get a bush hog in there to clean out some of the overgrown brush. It does have some potential but it needs a lot of love and care.

Needs Grass
This course has had some of the best greens around for some time but, the care they put into their greens, they seem to forget on the rest of the course. No overseed and poor drainage in many places leaves the course barren. It would just take a little dirt in strategic spots to make this a nice track. They have a lot of drainage issues. Small lakes form on fairways during rains. That stays for days. People seem to drive their carts wherever they feel. This exasperates the wear of the already wet course. They have no policing of these people.
It is a short course but you must hit shots to play it. Not a lot of wide open fairways so the shortness is well protected. Judging by the number of lost balls I picked up, lots of amateurs play here thinking the course is easy. It is not. It rewards placement and shot making.

Best greens in metro Atlanta
This course has an excellent maintenance crew and it shows! Awesome pro shop! Worth a visit!

The fairways were moderately wet. The greens are in excellent condition considering this being winter. A great course to play regularly.

Lost reservation
The golf course didn’t have our tee time in their system even though I received a confirmation email. They were kind enough to work with us and squeeze us in a few minutes later than the original tee time. It made for a stacked course because of it but I appreciated them doing everything they could to get us in. The course is great and we love playing there.

Nice challenging course
Overall, this is a great course that hosts a myriad of challenges (water and blind tee shots). The greens were really fast but receptive. The only few downsides that I saw were the conditions of both the chipping practice area and its range, however the course was beautiful considering the recent rain we've had. I also didn't prefer that the Marshall was pairing some people up to make a foursome but was letting other folks go out as two some. We had to pause pace of play to let a twosome play through because they were continually teeing off into us. Again, overall, the course was well worth admission and would definitely like to enjoy another round there in the future! Thanks!

Midday Run
I have a very nice Front Nine but had to leave due an emergency and missing out on the Back Nine

Yardage problems
The course was very wet, but there is nothing bad I can say about the conditions. My only small problem was the lack of yardage markings on the course. The marks on the cart paths were not legible. My advice would be to play this course with some sort of range finder.

Greens awesome but pace too slow
More than a 4 some should never be allowed on a busy weekend. The round lasted 5.5 hours. Groups stacked on every tee. We found out that there were too different groups of 6 playing in front of us jamming it up. The Marshalls we saw on the front nine we never saw on the back. The desk staff was great and offered us an incentive to try again. They just need to empower the Marshalls to do what’s right. Greens were the best we have played all fall and winter. Highly recommended course. Just maybe during the week.when not so busy. Foursome max please
