One of my favorite tracks
Worked here in high school and they have made this a really nice course since. I currently live in FL. and come back frequently to visit friends and family. This is always on the short list of courses to play in the area. One of the best layouts in my opinion. Highly recommend!!!

Definitely worth playing
Good course, not far from my house in Grayson. It rained pretty hard the days before but I did expect it to be a little dryer than it was, however they are working on some drainage issues.

Marshall Wyatt Earp
Course is in good shape , except for #5 which was basically closed down. They had an alternate tee box that was only 64 yards away from the pin. Why bother?. At no point did anybody in the clubhouse or The Marshall mentioned this.
Also very confusing as to what holes were cart path only listed on each cart. Block a block b and block c again at no point did anybody in a clubhouse nor the starter/ Marshall mention what block we had to pay attention to at number 9. We drove our cart out to our tee shots when the Marshall came down to let us know (as one of our players was addressing his ball). No carts on this hole we apologize he made us immediately go back to our cards. Remove our carts from the fairway, then walk 25 yd back to the ball. Total waste of time instead of just letting us hit and then remove our carts. We watched him do it for the next two groups that went through. Obviously nobody in the clubhouse was letting people know that information. In addition, he as a starter/ Marshall should have let people know, but he was quick to enforce it with an immediate cart removal. If he would have done his job right at the beginning of the round he wouldn't have to go down in address this every time.

Pace of play
No marshals to move a group of kids taking 30 minutes on every hole. We finally turned around and went home never finished and will never go back!!

Super fast greens
Course is in good shape for winter golf. Pin placements need to be checked prior to punching the holes, as a couple of them resulted in roll backs of 10 ft or more. The pros would be screaming about illegal pin placements!
Other than that, everything else was very good.

One of the nicest courses in town
Gotta say this is one of my new favorites
I play a lot of golf me and my friends have played every weekend it hasn’t rained this winter
This has been one of the best kept courses I’ve played this winter
Layout on the back 9 is the best in town
Better then bears best and Cherokee run (Cherokee run being my favorite local course) I think I have a new favorite
Pretty much the entire back 9 is wrapped around the lake
Front 9 also had a nice layout but not on the lake so if you play this course make sure you got time for 18
Green fees are a great value
Carts are a bit dated and parking lot might be a little small other then that no complaints
I didn’t get the chance to check out the practice facilities pro shop is small and it looked like they had a decent bar and grill in the clubhouse
Staff were friendly
I plan on playing this course frequently and I can’t wait to play it again once winter is gone and everything is in full bloom

If I had wanted to walk the course I would not have paid for cart. 10 of the 18 holes was cart path only. Other than he par three’s maybe two holes very in condition to be cart path only. Hadn’t play there in three years . Probably will that long before I play again.
