A few blind shots and many strategic shots gives this course a little edge!!! Would definitely play again!!!

I always enjoy this course. Some tough holes, some not so tough. Good mix of challenges.

Country Club of Gwinnett is very consistent every time I play it. The greens are always in a good condition and you get a lot of value for your money. You have to be strategic on this course as using driver on every par 4 or par 5 is not always the right decision. I definitely recommend this course!

No starter at the course nor were there any marshals. Pace of play was so bad that we left after 15 holes. Played on a Friday, cannot imagine playing on a weekend. Greens were in great shape but will not play there again until they get serious and monitor pace of play.

Beginning on hole 1, you've got to plan your target. A long drive will get you into trouble and a short shot will ruin any chance of hitting a GIR. Most of the course will keep you on your toes playing target golf. Very rewarding when you get it right. Leave the driver in the bag and make friends with your neglected clubs. 3-Wood may be a best friend here!

We had a great time. Very playable course, you don't need driver. If you come on a Sat expect to play a 5 hour round, very crowded, but to be expected. Even with the misstep on my tee times, everything worked out well.

Have played course many times over the years and current course conditions are the worst ever. Greens were bad because of terrible job of aeration. Eroded areas adjacent to many fairways are hardpan, tree roots or rocks. Sand traps are absolute joke with most having no sand at all. Overgrown areas haven't been cut since winter. Couldn't see 16th green from white tees. Either take better care or sell it to someone who cares.

Why are the cutting grass in the middle of the day? It seems like they had a mower going on every hole today. Very annoying. Course is nice and easy to play. But those mowers killed it

Awesome course only bad thing was that we got rained out after only playing 7 holes. I definitely want a do over. I will recommend this course to all my friends!!

Have not played here for 5-6 years and very few changes. The fairways get narrow on the back nine, The cut of the rough is fair so you do not loose a lot of balls, The best early "Hot Deal" available,

I’m sure this course is under funded. However it’s borderline unplayable now, aside from the terrible aeration job on the greens, the bunkers have more rock than sand and don’t look like they’ve been raked in months. Tee boxes are basically sand and weeds. This place used to have the best greens in the area and a wonderful staff, now the best part of the course is the fairways....and with the number of weeds I saw in the rough and around greens I’m sure the parking lot will soon become the bright spot of this place

Greens had been punched and sanded so they will be nice in a few weeks. Fairways are in excellent shape and the ball sits up nice. Premium for hitting the ball in play. Rough is tough and there are plenty of places to get into trouble. Pace of play was really nice. We only had to wait a few minutes a couple of times in the round.

I played this course because recent reviews were very positive. Really?? I'll give the course a little slack because they had just aerated the greens and they were truly dismal. But the rough had not been mowed in weeks. It was mid-shin high. We nearly lost a ball that had run through a fairway bunker but the grass was so tall we could not see it unless we were looking directly down at it. We finally found it about a foot outside the bunker. The bunkers, by the way, hadn't been groomed since Bobby Jones built Augusta National. If they weren't hard as a rock they were mud. The cart trails were awful, and if you were driving off the fairway--well, they should offer seat belts to help keep you in the cart. All this after reading the rave reviews. Who wrote those reviews? Staff members? I go to this area of Georgia a few times a year. But I won't be going back to The Country Club of Gwinnett

Rolling hills. High slope semi private club. Great play. Felt like we were on the course by ourselves. Great layout. Would definitely play again and recommend to others. Not for your beginner high slope means no flat lies Period!!!
