This was the third time playing this course for my son and I. The pace of play is very good - 3:45-4:15 rounds. The staff is very friendly and professiona!

the greens are in excellent shape, fast and true. Sands like few other courses in the area. Some bear spots on the fairways. Overall, very good for the money.

Course is great and the challenge is real. You will lose one ball at least or drop one , whatever the case. First time players need a guide. Or course book.

Lovely course. Uneventful first 9. In hole 10, the parking brake on the cart failed and it rolled down hill into the lake at #10. Really dramatic. Back end stayed dry so we salvaged everything and called the proshop. Guys were very kind, funny -- brought us out a new cart and we continued to play. Good place

great course for great green fee

This course was pretty beat up. Greens are ok and faster than they look. Would not recommend playing as a single as it was surprisingly busy mid-day mid-week.

The course is in great shape, it does play short if you play from the white tees. Play from the blue or gold tees if you want to hit driver. Greens are in great shape and rolling fast. Be sure to keep it in the fairway cause the rough is thick.

The course is in tremendous condition and this is a great value for this price point. Ian in the pro shop, and Pilar and Cynthia in F&B, made it a great experience. Very friendly, helpful and professional.

First time playing this course, and was immediately greeted by very friendly staff. A challenging course in terms of terrain with undulating fairways and greens. Both were in beautiful condition especially the greens. The back 9 is set on their lake and is very picturesque with some dramatic holes. Pace of play of for busy course was excellent. Definitely worth playing and well priced.

If you haven't played here you are definately missing out. This course is in great condition and is really a fun course to play. It is a country club but you don't feel completely surrounded by houses. The course has a great mix of hazards that present a nice challenge. The course has that Southern Georgia feel that so many people are attracted to.

Good layout makes you play different shots. The greens are in great shape. If I had one complaint it would be the 16 hole they need to cut those bushes down so you can see the target.

Played this course as a single via an online booking special. Arrived a few minutes late due to road closure in the area but staff was very accommodating getting me out. Had a little bit of a pace of play issue due to a very slow 4some a few groups ahead, but was able to skip ahead and had smooth sailing. Fairways were in good condition, greens were nice as well and rolled faster than they looked. Not an incredibly long course, you can get around a lot of holes with long irons off the tee.

great experience (as always).............the course is in great condition............CC of Gwinnett always provides a good experience............I would like lower beer prices......but, I'm cheap anyway..............Play this course its worth the $$$$$

Booked a hot deals for 8am, and I noticed that the greens were aerated but the course was in great shape otherwise the greens tee boxes and Fairways.

The fairways were in excellent shape. And even though the greens were aerated, it did not negatively affect putting significantly. Actually, aeration kept the crowds down, speeding up pace of play.

Admittedly I'm not a big fan of CCG, but have played it many times as several friends are members or live near the course. If you play it a lot, you can score there.

On this day...tees, fairways, greens were in very good shape...especially the new greens (minus #17)....maturing well, nice pace to them and pretty smooth. The bunkers had ample sand in them, nothing not to like about the conditions....probably the best I've seen CCG in my 2 dz or so times playing it...that will be changing as the greens are due to be aerated this week.

If you've never played it...typical north GA terrain...good amount of elevation change...not real long even from the back tee, but the bogey golfer or slightly better fill find plenty of challenge from the blue or member mixed tees...In a nutshell, there are just too many holes where you can't see you tee ball land and several holes are pretty exacting.

My favorite holes...#8, par 4...finally you can (and need to) pull driver and let it rip, #16 par 3 to a large peninsula green...there is a bail out right...par is a good score on both of these holes.

Least favorite,,,#2 par 5...dogleg left, but OB left and woods right and a creek dissects the fairway...tee shot is blind...reachable for the 260ish or better hitter, but you're better off hitting 3w here and making it a 3 shot hole...#12 par 4...short dogleg right...another blind tee shot, stay right...I hit 5i here to keep from running through the FW...approach is nice to a two tiered green...this one you need to play a couple of times to know what club to pull off the tee. They are birdie holes, but both of the back 9 par 5 holes the 2nd shot is blind.
