Course was wet but it’s march so, I really can’t complain
This course is under construction
They have multiple tee boxes covered and only allowed us to play 9 holes when we paid for 18
A Good Course to work on your game
First thing is you know what you are paying for. Not a top course in the area but a course you can enjoy working on your game.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Good to see maintenance is seeding all tee boxes and removing dead trees and brush. Another plus was new blacktop on cart paths where needed.
I know that they can’t do much about all the geese since course is surround by preserve areas.

Fall Golf
For this time of year the course was very playable. Greens rolled nicely. Leaves were maintained. Sand traps were okay. Great day of golf. Thank you Hilldale.

The greens were recently punched , but had grown in fine . Didnt effect play at all . Some of the fairways are pretty tight , maybe 50 yds wide . Enjoyed the play . Played along with some regulars so it helped , they knew the course layout . Some of the par 5 s very challenging.
