Hilldale Golf Club

Purse in great shape, including tee boxes under repair. Hole placement was fair, even in extreme slopes. You had an opportunity on each putt as the greens were in good shape.

I have always believed Hilldale is one of the better courses in the area. There is a lot of water hazards on the course, but it is well maintained. I always enjoy playing here in spite of it’s challenges.

Great course. Only complaint is the tee boxes.

Golf is hard enough with level tee boxes, but many(like hole 9) have 8°-10° side slopes or downslopes(hole18) .

Challenging course layout. Good greens and fairways, some narrow fairways and penal(but fair) rough.

Plays true to its slope. Par is hard earned here. A difficult course for beginners.

I have always loved the layout, the course was in very good shape. Only 17th was a little wet, but it always is. To bad the grill closed at six. The poor girl was sick and we arrived at 5:45 and said the grill was off and no food was available. No biggie, there are dozens of places nearby. We been in the grill before and it is usually terrific. We will definitely come back to Hilldale.

The fairways were in great condition.

Love this gem tucked away in the village of Hoffman Estates. Each hole has personality, not cut from the same mold as so many other local golf courses. My only criticism is that there were no water stations or beverage carts on the course, so be prepared! The grilled hot dogs at the turn is nice. Play here a couple times a year and will continue to do so.
