Too much time for play, no ball washer , no food
Started No. 1 hole on time though, when we arrived at the 2nd hole, 3 parties were waiting. It took more than 5 hours to finish 18 holes. We could not finf ball washer at every holes. Normally, we can have hotdog etc., but no foods were available.
Too many slow players.
I played for 5&half hours.
No rangers on the field.
So stressed.

Reasonable Flexibility
They are always very kind and very flexible for tee time arrangement. I like to go there with extra player when needed some flexibility.

greens were top dressed /that time of year, good course
Course with a lot of Variety
This is my second time playing this course and this course has a mix of everything more than most courses I've played in regards to the different variety of holes that are risk/reward and challenging enough. Bunkers are strategically placed and there are some flyover water holes 10, 17 & 18. Hole #2 is a challenging par 5 that requires a precise shot as there is water all around it. The only issue I had was that sand was all over the greens which made it challenging for putting. All in all this is a great course that I will play over again.
OMG
Got a nice deal on GN; as a single, when I got theee they told me I was paying alone behind 2 twosomes. I played thru one of them, the other was jumping holes. Passed through another 4some before playing the last 6 behind a threesome that was insistent that wasn’t passing them even tho there were 3 open holes in front. Hard to play a nice round with this chaos , will be a long time til I go back, another case of a course losing control of their course
Enjoyable experience
Course is in great shape. Greens are well maintained and true. Nice halfway hut on tenth tee with good brats/dogs and cold beer. Hilldale is a great value.

Solid course. Long par 3, old trees, hilly, Robert Trent Jones Sr design.
Hilldale
Good value. Wet with thunderstorms finished at 13-14. Reasonable layout lots of water, couple of easy holes couple of hard. Reasonable condition. Good honest course from tips.
