Pace of Play Terrible
3 and 1/2 hours to play 11 holes. Worse pace of play I have experienced. To add insult to injury it rain so left after we played 11 holes since it would have been a six hour round. This was on Friday so I could imagine a weekend round. I would only recommend this course if they had a Marshall on the course. Did not see one during the round.

Not a Resort Course
Nice location. Beautiful setting. If you're out for a leisurely round of golf, this may not be your best choice. Tough layout, lots of blind shots, lost balls. Accustomed to resort type flatter courses...this is not that.

Great round.
Smokerise is a great golf experience. Greens roll true and are in fantastic shape. Fairways are challenging and well manicured. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. For the money, you won't find a better deal so close to Atlanta.

Tough course
If you want to hit a lot of driver off the tee, this isn’t the course for you. The layout will really challenge you on every shot and force you to use every club in your bag. The greens are no joke either... better bring your “A” game.

Tight course. You will hit Iron off many tees because of doglegs. Greens were in great shape. Bunkers were washed out. Pace of play was slow. Teed off at 1230 and finished at 545. Staff was friendly.

Outstanding greens, friendly staff
Overall fun to play course with a few blind shots and lots of doglegs. Greens were exceptional; smooth, moderate speed, subtle breaks, with lots of variety. Scenic course with frequent elevation changes, and one where local knowledge is important. I played as a single, and even with GPS on my phone, misjudged some distances and payed the price. Strongly recommend viewing the holes on their website where they are all nicely described. Overall, course in very good shape except for some beat up tee boxes. I was in several sand traps; all in very good shape. For the money on Golfnow, I will definitely go back.

Saturday golf
The course dried out very well from the rain, overall good condition. Staff was friendly and saw the beverage cart multiple times throughout our round.
My putter cover fell off and Chandler the beverage cart driver found it and drove it to our hole. Very impressed!!!
