Smoke Rise Country Club

Had perfect weather and enjoyed a fun round. This course is very challenging, especially the conditions on the day I played. Greens were slick but rolled true, and the primary rough was quite thick. Course can be quite punishing if you're not hitting accurate shots. But it was in great shape, pace was good, had a fun time. Only complaint is that there is no food/beverage service, even in the clubhouse.

Interesting course, lots of hills and elevation changes. Nice fast greens, tight fairways. Worth playing

Fun course with a few very difficult holes. Greens roll VERY well! Most bunkers need a lot of work as do most fairways. I played this course in the ‘90s when it was nearly pristine. Not so much now, but this is still a wonderful place to play.

I love this course! Outstanding layout- Many doglegs on this course which is a little challenging for first time around. Plenty of tough holes but with many tee choices the course is fair for all golfers. Conditions were excellent from tee to green. Greens are in incredible shape.

Everything about this place was top notch except the range is only in fair condition. I look forward to playing here again.

The course was in great shape. The greens were excellent. The course is challenging but there are fun holes for every level.

harder than it appears, played just after the hurricane and conditions were very good other than a few washed out areas and bunkers.

Directional signage is an issue, got confused a couple of times to where the next tee was. Access to some tees were difficult, walking gingerly down hill to cart path.

If you get a hot deal play the course it is worth the time

We had a fun but challenging round. Overall course conditions were good. Greens were exceptional. Crews did a great job cleaning debris from the recent tropical storm. Bunkers were okay. Strategy is required to find safe ball placement areas but good scoring is possible if you play from the appropriate tees.

The greens were perfect the pace of play was horrible sent out to many singles or twosomes. Need to pair people together.

I play golf all over the world! And this is one of the best tracks that I have played. Great staff, great course, great time!

First time playing this course and was making great timing before getting stuck behind a threesome that wouldn't let a single player play through causing my round to last 1.5 hours longer. The course was very narrow and the rough can swallow your ball up if you end up there. A lot of holes had major dog legs so without prior knowledge of the course it can make it more difficult. A lot of elevated tee boxes which made the par 3's more scenic. Enjoyed playing the course and will definitely be back. A couple things to note: if you have a friend riding along with you they will charge a fee, even if you aren't causing the need for an additional cart, which I don't agree with. They also wouldn't give me ice for my cart cooler without purchasing something, which is a first in my books. Willing to overlook the pace of play and other items simply because of the course itself though.
