Good place to play
The course is fun and laid back. Yea it's not the nicest as far as conditions go but you get what you pay for. Always enjoy my rounds here.
Great beginner course
It’s not a country club golf course, but it is an excellent course and a great value to introduce my son to the game of golf.
Good Course for the Money.
The course is a decent course, worth the money I paid. If you're used to playing Augusta, then go play Augusta. If your looking to enjoy a round of golf and don't want to break the bank try this course.
Last minute choice
Pine Hill Golf Club in Winder is like a cult classic. If you live within an hour you need to play it just because. This was the only course that was available last minute for a tee time. The staff is super friendly and helpful letting us start about 20 minutes before our actual tee time due to some no shows.
On top of each other
This course should be a Par 3. It is very small and the tee for each hole is directly next to the hole for the last one. We were on top of the players in front of us, it was a very slow pace of play. Was worried about getting hit with balls from all sides due to holes running side by side.
Decent value for the money
While only paying $22 for a round cause im broke college student i got exactly what i paid for. I worked at a country club for 2 years and played at elite courses in maryland because of that, which has definitely changed my expectations from golf courses. So i was a little stunned when seeing the course. But overall it was as bad as it looked from afar. The staff was very friendly and the course wasnt in horrible shape. Some spots were pretty bad though. Overall i had a nice round and got what i payed for.
Ehhh
i personally love to save money. Especially when i golf 2 times a week.
This is not one you want to save money on. Its not a ABSOLUTE horrible course. I just wouldnt play again. Fairways blend into each other, no clear defining obstacles keeping one hole away from another.
My friend and i both tee'd off from hole 3.. only for an old man to grab our balls off the course because he thought they were his.
We were absolutely livid. Not only did he mess our hole up, but he stole one of our callaway bright colored balls. Claimed he didnt have it, but we watched him grab one; from the tee side. We assumed he grabbed both. He was on the hole next to us(maybe 9?)
