Greens
Greens are damaged, more than likely due to just people dragging there cleats across the green when walking, as well as people not fixing there pitch marks and divots. 15 should be the hardest hole on this course but it’s number two to only 18 which makes no sense. Other than all that. I do like this course and it never gets enough credit where it’s do.
Pines Hill Golf Course
Let me tell you, great course. Reminded me of my younger days. Relatively lower price, open play, and friendly staff. All of the staff were good ol’ Southern boys.
It is a brilliant course for a calm, weekend round. No hole was too hard, no hole was too long. Absolutely loved it.
Good game development course
I’ve played here a few times. The pace has been very slow during the Covid exercise. The greens are slow and a little bumpy compared to most courses that I play. It appears that players rarely fix there ball marks or divots. The is a good course to work on your game as many of the holes are open and close to each other. You will see many players playing from the wrong fairway. I would not hesitate to bring beginner friends to this course other than the fear that it may affect the already slow play. It’s usually a 5+ hour 18 hole affair.
Perfect for my ability
I love this course it’s my super nice, but relaxed. The people who run it are awesome. And the players are usually very relaxed.
Great value and friendly
Course is challenging, greens are in great shape, fairways are fair, but if you are off the fairway the ground is almost unplayable. Staff is great. For the money, it can’t be beat for a practice round.
Watch out for 15th
As a 18 handicapper, I enjoy playing different courses. Found a nice practice course today and recommend it for all levels. Marshall should speed up play though,, PLEASE.
Good course for beginners
Pace of play today was slow. Greens were not in the best shape. But, this course is great for beginners to learn game of golf.
Better than expected
After reading some of the reviews seemed like the course would be a nightmare but all and all not bad for the price. Only complaints would be cramped layout and terrible cart path.
