Winder
Challenging yet very playable course for my wife & I. Fall conditions with fallen leaves and thickened turf presented a challenge within itself but overall the course is in good condition with great greens created a perfect serine round. Staff is excellent.
I highly recommend this course if your looking for a new course or rusty from lack of play for a pleasant refreshing round. Worth the drive.
Great value for the Money
Good greens, average fairways, poor cart paths. Great time golfing with my Dad!
Eco Course
Best course around for the price. If you want a challenging round of golf for a great price, this is the place. Tee times are readily available, and the staff is always nice. I always have a great time there!
Add this to your rotation
Overlooked this course for years but decided to give it a go. Really enjoyed the open layout and the good conditions of the fairways and greens. Certainly on par with other courses in the area. If you want to play a fun course at a fair price, check out Pine Hills.
A good course to play for everyone. The back nine have to really focus on ball placement in fair way.
Nicest staff you will ever meet in the clubhouse. They do play a league on Tuesday mornings just an FYI. Layout is fun, greens are slow but you can really be agressive with chips.
Fun course to learn the game!
I started playing here and have since been to courses all over. I still to this day find myself booking tee times at this course just for the laid back experience. The staff is super friendly and the hot dogs are hard to beat after the first nine. Overall, it's hard to find a better experience on the course with friends for the price.
Good Value
Played Pine Hills for the first time. It is a reasonably decent course. Fairways are mostly grass but there are a lot of weeds too. The greens are a little long but not annoyingly slow and the ball runs true. On Saturday afternoon I played as a single in under 3 hours - almost unheard of to play at that pace. For the price (about $25 including cart) the course is a very good value.
Great Public Course
I'll get the bad out of the way first.
Overall rating is 4 stars.
There were a few tee boxes that were rock hard which made placing a tee difficult.
The markers needed to be relocated as a some of them were devoid of grass and it was bare dirt with some dead grass stragglers.
No water or portable toilets were available anywhere throughout the course.
Now for the good.
Greens were in fantastic condition. Only a couple that I noticed had some crab grass growing along the edges but wasn't severe.
The greens do putt slower than you would expect. They were soft enough to get a ball to check up and stop.
Fairways were typical for this time of year. A little bit of green mixed with brown areas.
Front nine is fairly wide open but offers enough challenge. Back nine is far tighter and more challenging.
Staff was above and beyond courteous and friendly to include the retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major as the starter.
Pace of play was excellent. The course wasn't slammed busy but busy enough. Wait times on the tees was almost negligible.
Dress code is very casual and laid back. You can dress in comfort without the hassle of feeling constricted. No tank tops allowed.
Purchase your beverages at the clubhouse before you get started.
This is a course that I will definitely recommend and return to.

Good Value for the Money
The course is in decent shape for the money. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. It's a great place to go and work on your game, and an even better place to take friends who are learning the game or are high handicappers. That said, it is probably best to avoid for low handicappers or golfers used to nice/well taken care of courses. As stated in the title, it's great value given the price, but not among the best courses in the area.
One of the nicest staff I have encountered. The starter and women at the counter where genuine and knowledgeable. Course layout is perfect from the blues. Greens are slower than average but you get used to them after a few putts.
