About
Formerly known as Poplar Creek Country Club, the club was transformed into the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in 2011. Besides just the name change, the design itself was dramatically reinvented. Fifteen holes were completely redesigned but the golf course's most memorable holes were left untouched. Bunkers and fairways were reconfigured and fescue was planted to provide more depth and definition. To make the course even more challenging, new lakes were also added. The golf course is definitely a shot maker's layout that rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategizing. The final three holes are considered by many locals to be the toughest finishing trio in all of Illinois. It begins with an uphill par 4, followed by the longest par-3 and par-4 holes respectively. The Bridges of Poplar Creek C.C. offers a round that will challenge even the most avid golfers.

The Land of Forced Carries
It's been several years since I last played Bridges of Poplar Creek. It's just as remembered with a few added bonuses! GPS carts, Top Tracer bays, and an improved drink selection. What hasn't changed is that Bridges continues to be a "target golf" course that requires precision off the tee and on approach shots to avoid the many water hazards decorating the course. I didn't play my best golf, but the experience still made for an enjoyable round.

Nice course, lots of water!! If you're having a bad day and say pulling everything bring extra balls 😁😁 Early morning weekday t time $40, graat value. I will play here again.

This course is an awesome little gem with interesting layout and challenging holes. Water comes into play on most holes; greens were great and pace was awesome.

The layout and challenge of this course is excellent! Each hole feels unique and there are plenty of water hazards to avoid if you’re going to shoot well.
Greens are great, very fun.
For the price, the fairways of this course are in less than fair condition, with multiple grasses growing. If the course wants to charge this high of a fee, golfers deserve better kept grounds.

Play this course alot. I know it's the beginning of the season but the greens were aerated sometime ago. The aerate was still visible and was causing the ball to jump around. Tough to sink putts when that's happening.

Nice Course. Not too difficult.
This was my second time playing here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Course is in a great location and easy to get too. Condition of the course was pretty good for early April. Little wet in spots due to recent rains, but fairways and greens were good. Not too challenging of a course and just a fun course to play. Will definitely be back.
