About
Formerly known as Poplar Creek Country Club, the club was transformed into the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in 2011. Besides just the name change, the design itself was dramatically reinvented. Fifteen holes were completely redesigned but the golf course's most memorable holes were left untouched. Bunkers and fairways were reconfigured and fescue was planted to provide more depth and definition. To make the course even more challenging, new lakes were also added. The golf course is definitely a shot maker's layout that rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategizing. The final three holes are considered by many locals to be the toughest finishing trio in all of Illinois. It begins with an uphill par 4, followed by the longest par-3 and par-4 holes respectively. The Bridges of Poplar Creek C.C. offers a round that will challenge even the most avid golfers.

1st Timer
I enjoyed the course. It was in good shape and played in 3-1/2 hours. The water was a bit intimidating for the first round. Several holes the water didn't leave much space for being short on the the approach, so some unusual decisions to lay up. Overall, I'll play it again and hopefully play better with a little course knowledge! Friendly staff.
course not at 100 %
I never understood how golf courses charge full price when the golf course is not 100% ready. alternate tee boxes are used. broken branches still have not been cleaned up. The biggest problem has been cart path only since the course opened making it difficult for us older players. great staff on premise.

I’ve played here 3 other times and would rate the course as above average as far as conditions , value, greens and layout
As far as March 29 , not so much.
Pace of play poor
Greens bumpy and slow
Zero work done to bunkers , mostly mud
3/4 temp tee boxes
Normal weekend green fee is $82!!!! Paid $70
Even if they fix bunkers , tee boxes and greens I would never pay $82 to play here
The staff is very good

I have issues with courses that open and do absolutely nothing to the course

I will start out by saying it’s the end of March so you should expect that the course isn’t in summer condition but that said

Not worth $82
Pace of play was poor , understand cart path only but most of the rounds I have played this year (this is round -2 ) were cart path only. 4 hours 45 minutes. All the other courses I played were under 4:10 Saw fit to have a cart girl but no ranger to help with pace of play
Greens were just average , bumpy. Have played 6 different courses so far , yours were not as good as the others
A few temp tee boxes. $55-69 would have been a fair price for temp tees on 4-5 holes and bumpy greens at this time of the year did zero work on bunkers , some mud
I have played here in the summer and the course was in good shape the 3 times I played
Staff has always been friendly
I would give this place another month before coming back but I won’t be coming here at $82 for the weekend
New year first time out
Course just opened this week. Didn't clean up broken branches. Traps were raked. Very friendly staff
Decent course, terrible pace of play.
It’s a solid track and is in good condition. Unfortunately, that was overshadowed by a nearly 5 hour round due to slow play in front of us. We sent several messages to the clubhouse and never saw a ranger, so the slow players backed up the entire course since they never let anyone play through.
