Where's the cart
I got to the course and found out that I would have to walk. I paid for riding but conditions was not allowed for riding. The season for the course was noticible because the greens needed to be maintained.
Terrible Condition
I know it’s spring and the season is just getting started but the course was in awful condition.
Service
I left my jacket on the cart, I returned to the cart area, and my coat had been removed. I asked one of the managers. He said oh here it is lying on the floor.
Great Old Course, Better Staff
This is a great old course, that has the best staff around. Course is challenging and fun. Staff makes sure every part of your experience is perfect. I felt welcomed and appreciated and the course is a blast. Long and short holes will challenge all. So fun! Can't wait to get back!
Good course
Despite cold and windy weather, the course played pretty well. Would like to play again in better weather conditions. Staff was nice and course was in pretty good shape for late October, though some of the tee boxes were sketchy and needed TLC.

Legendary Course
Great. staff. Chris Rocks. Course layout is awesome. Conditions are not great. I wish they would put some money into maintenance. Need to open up the patio and get a liquor license. Its a shame they don't open the clubhouse
Course layout is good
If you are not in the middle of fairway it's a job trying to find Balls ! Greens are in great shape ! Will not be going back no time soon ⛳
The layout is outstanding. Sure there are some rough spots but they are easily overlooked when viewing the course in its entirety. Chris and Max in pro shop are great.
A true classic
I've been wanting to play this course my whole adult life and finally did today. Yes, it's not in impeccable shape, yes the clubhouse is shut down, yes the rough is a little long but...it's still an amazing track. You hit shots here that you don't on regular Joe blow courses. Play the Whites at 6300 yds and you are in for a tough but fair challenge. The greens run true albeit certainly slower than when it was private I'm sure. If you haven't played it and have wanted to, just do it. For the cost you won't be disappointed.
Calumet
Tee box’s were a little bit rough but everything less was great. Fairways and greens were great conditions. Plus rate was unbelievable!!!
Good value
This is probably the fifth or sixth time I’ve played this course. It’s really a good value for the money. The layout of the course is great. The conditions are OK you can tell they just don’t have major funding to put in the facilities. But the course itself is in good shape and plays well. They seem to be struggling with staffing because it’s a real skeleton crew for food and beverage. But the staff was really nice and did a great job.
