Like a Country Club
Everything was just fabulous except, and it’s possible they didn’t cut the greens that morning, but the greens were as slow as I’ve ever seen @ Ravisloe

Sand
Beautiful course and beautiful facility. Everything was maintained very well, especially for a public course in this area. The best part was that the sand was the best I’ve seen in Illinois in a long time, which is important because there is a lot of sand. Overall, a fun and challenging course with small greens that are all protected by sand/hazards.

Outstanding experience
Ravisloe has been on my list of courses to play for years. I was not disappointed. Excellent course. Friendly staff. Pace of play less than 4 hours for a 9:40 AM tee time. A fun course o play.

Great value
One of the best values in Chicago. Well placed trees and bunkers make the course fun to play. Bunkers are in great shape. Course rewards good well placed shots.

Really well preserved and well kept classic private club
My son and I played early on a Monday AM…we played in 2:40 hrs and another 2-some walking in front of us let us play through. I caddied there 45 years ago, so it has sentimental value to me. The course is a really sporty classic golf course and very well kept…greens were a bit slower than usual there but rolled true. Fairways were very well cared for. Bunkers in pretty good shape, tho a bit inconsistent like many of the courses around the Chicago area. Very nice clubhouse from the old private era. We played from the tips (of course), and I would say that at slope of 130, the track is a bit under-sloped at 130…should be 132-134 IMHO. All in all very enjoyable somewhat hidden gem in far south burbs. Highly recommend!

Nice Course - A little Pricey
We played 18 holes from the black tees starting at 620am as a threesome. I'm about a 13-15 hcp). Played in about 3hr 30m. We waited to hit for about 5minutes the entire round and that was only on par 3s.
Course is in great shape, greens were pretty consistent once they dried out.
We would definitely play here more often if it wasn't $100 with cart. It feels like more of an $70-$80 worth of value given that it's not that long even

Like a Country Club
Everything was excellent except the Greens were a little slow, not the same pace as a few years ago.
I’d play every week if I lived closer!

What a great gem of a golf course!! Great value and in such great shape I am shocked it is that reasonable priced!! It is better than most private clubs, especially the greens!!

Extraordinary value with Deal time
Ravisloe is excellent course in great shape. Feels and plays like private club.
For $51 Deal time was definitely best value I expect to find this year.

One of the very best public courses in the Chicago area. Exceptionally well maintained. Bring wedges. Deep bunkers. Staff is always great. Always enjoy playing here.

One of Chicago’s finest
Patrons could be more respectful by raking bunkers and fixing ball marks. Those are the only faults I could find in this absolute gem of a Chicagoland public course. Well marshaled, a ton of personality, and great layout.
