Great conditions and good challenge
This is a very fun place to play, I have played here before the experience has been good every-time, great staff and the course is very well maintained. I will keep coming back here again and again.

A gem of a course
From the moment you drive up, you can tell this is going to be special. The course is 118 years old but shows its age in a good way. Elegant design, well maintained, clubhouse with great drive-up appeal. I expected to see people in their plus-fours on the course and white dinner jackets in the dining area. Well worth many return visits.

Greens are very receptive and undulating. Free tip: Don’t try to over power the course!
Best Chicago area course
This Don Cook track is a gem. Walkable. Many different looks. No two holes even similar. Short number 5 is perilous. The course is in great shape. Precision over power but length is a plus on 9. Try your best to stay even par in the hollow. Have fun. It’s that good.

Have played this course numerous times. Donald Ross design that won’t disappoint.
The greens were slower than usual however, they played true...

Beautiful
First time playing course, shot an 88. My buddy plays often he shot an 81. The course is beautiful! If I was retired I would play at least twice a week. Friendly staff, well maintained course and the practice putting greens was the same speed as the course greens (crazy, right). Looking to play again in a couple weeks.

Very nice old school golf course... challenging but very fair... wry good course conditions... I actually love this course and what it offers, my only gripe is pace of play
