Prairie Isle Golf Club

The course is layed out well with risk and reward holes. Starts off with a par 5 and ends that way. Some holes you have to lay up for the 2nd shots in. The course is was in excellent shape.

Great course. I wish it was in my town. Actually has some hills, which is rare here in these parts. Holes 11, 12, and 13 are an "amen corner". I have played here many times and enjoy it thoroughly. It is also very much out in the country with only a few houses on a few holes. Course is in great shape.

Terrain is awesome. Course is well maintained. There are a few tricky holes, especially the18th.

Honestly do not understand the fuss about slow play. Maybe there were outings or leagues going on during your round.

Anywho, had a Noon tee time for a twosome and shot off the 1st the tee at 11:50AM, ten minutes ahead of schedule and was back in the car at 3:30PM (we did cheat and play few extra holes in between since we were way ahead of schedule and still managed to finish before 3:30PM) Greens were consistently 6.5/10 for speed of greens with 10 being the quickest (makray memorial would be a 8.5 on a good day in my books which is plenty fast enough for me and most others). Also don't blame the course for losing/searching for your balls and building your 5hr+ round. There really aren't many hazards that came into play as I only hit one bunker the entire round never got wet.

Overall great course and will be back with a foursome because its such a quick course. With the pace of play being so quick, no one should be hammered by the end of the round haha

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. The variety of holes, the conditioning and even the views are great. It is a bit of a ride but well worth it.

Best course and staff I've seen, from the office staff, to the maintenance crews. I drive well out of my way to play Prarrie and it's well worth it. Unless things change, this will remain my first and "home" course.

Always in great condition. Challenging pins on "key holes" (#2, 5,). 8 is the photo hole. Love it. Have a hotdog on the turn because you better be ready for some tight drives on the back! At least on 11 and 12. Go golf at the Isle!!

Regardlessof your skill level or the tee box you p,any from, this course is always a challenge and ALWAYS FUN. Like most courses in this area it has suffered due to the heavy rains but for the most part it has held up well. If we ever get dry conditions this course will return to top shape. The only negative is the lack of a driving range but that is the only minus.

Great place to play; friendly staff, Nice layout, excellent condition with phenomenal greens. Watch out for Amen corner 10,11,12 & 13.

The only drawback is lack of a practice facility.

Course is always in good condition. Great layout and good practice green and chipping area. Needs a range but has a net. Overall very nice course for all levels.

Really enjoyed this course and will definitely play again. Very nice layout and different from most courses in this area with all the hills and trees.

This is a well maintained and fun course. Played a day or two after a heavy rain and for the most part the course handled the rain very well. Only problem was on #9, #10 and #11 which were a bit soggy. The rains also brought out the mosquitoes on those holes as well. The rest of the course was challenging without issue. The greens are tricky and will reward the player who takes the time to study the line. They were fast so the approach shot is critical. You can expect a fun first round with each subsequent round continuing to challenge your shotmaking abilities. When the course is completely dry it's a fast track for sure. The only negative is the absence of a driving range. The staff is friendly and prof ssional.

Quality of Greens for lower hdcp player a must - Prairie Isle meets/exceeds those expectations.

Friendliness of staff from Starter, Ranger, clubhouse and Golf Pro exemplary - would come back just for that reason - add the conditions of the course and playability of the course and you have one of the best if not the best deals in the area.

Prairie Isle is one of my favorite golf courses. It runs the whole range of golf holes-elevation, short, long, tight, target, narrow, wide, blind. The course is always in great shape and I consider it a hidden gem!!!
