Water's Edge Golf Club

Course was in good shape other than the greens. The people that play here need to learn how to fix their digits on the green bend you fat but over and have some golf edict.

Just played it for the first time in 2019, track was in good condition.

I always enjoy playing Waters Edge, not too bad getting to from the loop and a solid course. Fairways and rough are in good condition, greens typically are beat up but they weren’t bad today. Some challenging holes but not overpowering for a 20+ handicap. Negatives: busy weekday and the halfway house was closed, but there was a cart girl out; traps had basically no sand in them; and the pace is always awful... 2.5 hour back 9 on a Tuesday afternoon... This course is close to becoming a really nice place to play if they can figure a few things out.

Nice course, pretty well maintained. Not super challenging but not easy. Really good value. I played super early and the round was fast

This course is pretty, the range is nice, and the staff was friendly. But, when we arrived, they told us they were running 30 minutes behind. When we finally teed off, the groups in front of us were so jammed that we waited for several minutes at almost every tee box. After a 30 minute delay, our round took 5:15. It seems from other reviews that this is common at this course.

Due to problems with the carts our threesome teed off 40 minutes after our scheduled tee time. Then the round took 5 hours. The group in front of us lost 6 balls on just one hole and constantly left clubs on the green they either had to come back for or we had to bring the clubs to them on the next tee. Two carts lost their charge and slowed play even further. The group in front of us took 50 minutes to play the last three holes. We saw a ranger but he did nothing to move play along. There were even no buns for the hot dogs at the halfway house. The course and layout were nice but we have played this course several times before and slow play is the norm. But total of 5 hours and 40 minutes is unacceptable. We won't go back.

This is a pretty challenging course with all the tree and water. I do like the course but if you plan on golfing there it’s a minimum of 5 hours. Today at hole 9 we were at 2hrs 45 mins and every hole had 2 4-man group waiting to tee off. I had to leave. Couldn’t stay there and have an 18 round turn out to 6 long hours of golf. Especially if you get in a grove with your swing you’ll definitely lose it waiting to tee off at next hole. I won’t be going back to this course.

Decent price for $20. Get what you pay for. Friendly staff, traps could be better. Overall good course. Challenge 6.8/10

This was my first time at Waters Edge and I really enjoyed the course layout. It had some difficulty but not to the point to where you were frustrated. The course has some forgiveness to it, which help you survive your usual array of bad shots. The tee areas were my only negative as the grass had been worn away and you were teeing up on dirt in spots. The rest of the course and the greens in particular were extremely well maintained. Pin placement were challenging as some of the greens were undulating so some putts were tough due to that. I plan to return as the course overall was a delight to play with some interesting layouts of the holes.

Very wet, but got our round in. Staff treated us well.

This is normally a nice place to golf even when outings are going on. Today however the pace was awful and the ranger did nothing about it. It took 2.5 hrs to get from 9-13. There were 5 somes playing and they lost control of the course and we ended up quitting and there was no refund or any sort of sincere effort to make good on the clear negligence by the staff

This is a very enjoyable place to play. The course is challenging but fair and the staff are very friendly - all of them - starter, manager, shop, bar staff. Today we had some people cut in on us who ignored our complaints. We called the club and a ranger came out immediately to address the problematic people. The course pace had then settled down after the delay but the assistant manager then came out and gave us a complimentary round to compensate for our delay.
