Cresta Verde Golf Club

Love seeing the owner in working along side the staff to make this course a success. Lots of unique, yet playable holes with plenty of elevation change and challenges. Granted, there some areas of the course left in their natural state, but the greens, approach areas and vast majority of the fairways are in great shape for an affordable course.

The course is fun and challenging in many ways with elevated tees on some holes. You can see improvements being made on the course itself which is good but still a ways to go to reach its maximum potential. The driving range has great / new mats but make sure to bring your own rubber tees for your driver. Overall I like this course and would recommend it to any or all that inquire. The food (burgers) were BOMB!!! My son could not stop raving about how good it was so the 19th hole is definitely a must try. I will return in the future and hope to find even more improvements completed. ..... GREENS WERE AWESOME!!

The coast was $50 a person and there are multiple holes in poor condition. Management was rude to us in regarded to bring in coolers and would not fill their provided cooler with enough ice to handle the heat. Was such a bad experience that our foursome has decided to not return and play the course. There are many better courses around the area that are a lot better and charge about the same.

Course has terrible management, they purposely left tee times wide open and over booked everyone. We had an 8 am tee time and didn't tee off til about 9:10 and the course played about 6 hours. Would never go back.

If you like delayed tee times and slow play this is your course

The overall course was pretty good. The greens were really good though some a little slow but that changed later in the round. Some of the fairways weren’t that great as the grass felt more like compacted dirt but mostly this was a very enjoyable course. It was challenging enough to keep things interesting but it was open enough to not get too discouraged. The 17th hole was quite impressive as you have about 190 to the hole but about 100 foot elevation change so it plays much shorter. Solid finishing hole too.

Pace of play was great too. Had some slow guys in front of us for a bit but they disappeared after the turn.

This was my last time playing in SoCal before I leave and I wish I had found this course sooner.

Finding a reasonably price course, that is in good shape, is tough. Props to Cresta Verde owner and staff for putting in the time, effort and resources to get the most important things right...greens, fairways and tee boxes. All are in great shape. Sprinklers were on mid day today...which some could find annoying...too me it shows they are on top of things and a little water on a warm day felt good, They nature areas of this course are meant to be UNmaintained. Food in the clubhouse was excellent and workers inside and out were friendly.

We will be back and will be spreading the word.

It’s a fun course, not great. Bumpy fairways a d paths- rough ride. Tess are not level, but the greens were pretty good.

Greens were nice, soft and smooth. Fairways were okay. Several roug patches but overall, not bad for the money.
