Royal Hylands Golf Club

The weather people forecasted no rain until the afternoon, so of course it rained on and off during our morning round. The pins were in the most challenging spots on the course which made it tough to attack. We played fairly quickly on the front side, but a few groups in front of us decided the spotty rain was too much for them so they waited at the turn which backed us up on the back side. The owner is a great guy who goes out of his way to accommodate you. We'll be back.

You won't find anyone who will treat you better than Max and crew. One of the best courses in Indiana hands down.

Have not played this course in over 25 years . Just retired and moved back to Indianapolis from Kentucky . I was impressed with the bent grass fairways and the smooth ,undulating greens,I cannot wait to play it again with my son.

Well worth the $16 to ride 18! Hole 4 is a really intimidating hole from the tips.

This was the first time playing the course for our entire foursome. We will definitely be back. Course was in very good shape and the price was extremely reasonable. Most holes are very tight off the tee but not unreasonable. Really can't complain about a thing. Bunkers, fairways and greens were all in very good shape.

Always a great round. Challenging layout and fun. Great staff.

Three friends and I played Royal Hylands recently, and we really enjoyed our experience. The staff was very friendly, and the course was in great shape. If you keep your tee shots in the fairway, you can shot a nice score. Our group plays 20 to 25 different courses a year, and I would rate Royal Hylands as one of the top course we have played.

Once again the staff was very kind and appreciative of our playing at there course. The plush fairways and smooth greens make for an enjoyable round of golf. The new sand in the bunkers was a welcomed addition. I have never been disappointed over the many years of playing at this great facility.

Have played here before but had forgotten how good the place is - and it is only getting better. The course was in wonderful shape - fairways like carpet and the greens were fast enough for most players.
Pace of play was on the slow side but it was a holiday, AND if you don't keep your ball under control, you WILL spend some time looking for it.
I look forward to playing it again.

The course is beautiful and very well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife and I played 18 in 3.5 hours. Will return again..

Fairway and green are in good condition. Great staff and owners.

My group got caught in the traffic from an accident so we called the course and the Royal Hylands staff went out of their way to make sure we could get on the course even though we missed our tee time. The golf course is in fantastic condition and presents a fair challenge! I highly recommend Royal Hylands!

This course is always in great condition!!! The staff is great and appreciative of its guests and price is amazing for the quality of course. I try to get out to play this course as much as possible when I'm in town visiting my family.

Max and his team have a wonderful golf course. It is very well maintained and seems to always be in great shape. They are also very nice people and I always enjoy returning to Royal Hylands!

Great course and very unique layout. Good mix of holes, length, elevation, and direction. Fairways and greens were in excellent conditions... greens are very fast which is nice. Some spots in the rough though were a little bare and felt like hitting off concrete and some bunkers were under construction. Usually the price is around $50-$55 I think and I found a deal for a foursome for $31 a piece on Sunday morning which I feel was a great deal. I would recommend this course to anyone but again it's a long drive being about 25 miles east of 465/70 split on the East side but luckily right off of I-70.

Love this course! It is definitely a hidden gem in Central Indiana.

Hylands has great character for the size property it rests on. Its small greens demand precision but surrounding areas are trimmed to provide several options to get up and down to save par. Greens were very fast (which I love), making anything above the hole a challenging two-putt. A great test that takes you through your entire bag.

Always in great shape if you have time for the drive, love it. The staff is friendly each time as well.
