Covered Bridge Golf Club

Very nice layout. This was my first time playing this course. It was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. I love the course and a very enjoyable experience.

CBGC is a great place to play some afternoon golf. Given the huge amount of rain they have had recently, the front 9 was closed due to flooding. Not a big issue, it happens in the Ohio Valley during spring. The course is nowhere near prime right now, but in better condition than most any other in the area for this time of year. Highly Recommend anyone give this course a round of play. You won't be disappointed, but wait until mid May if you're traveling.

Unable to play either day we had booked due rain. Nice grille room. Staff was very nice. Will try to visit again in summer. Rating is based on appearance of course and professionalism of pros shop staff.

I've played this course twice in the last 3 months. Both days it was after a pretty steady week of rains so the course was soggy but of course nothing they can control.
The layout is fairly tight but the landing areas are clear of trees and such that would catch your average hacker. Smart course management is key to a successful round, your typical grip-it and rip-it style play will make you layup on your second shot on par fives.
It's a gorgeous course with rolling hills, The Covered Bridge, streams running through out and lined with beautiful homes.
I'll play it again for sure - it's a great course!

This course is so fun to play. It's challenging but also has some easier holes. They keep their fairways, bunkers, greens and tee boxes in fantastic shape year round. When this course is played on during the spring and summer months, it's absolutely gorgeous. Love the practice facility too!

THE CLUB HOUSE WAS CLOSED EARLY WOULD HAVE LIKED TO GOT A BITE TO EAT AFTERWARDS AND A SHOT OF SMOOTH VODKA.

The only challenge at the course was no bathroom facility out on the course. The course itself was awesome.

First time playing course. Painfully slow play and no rangers around to speed things up. Otherwise, very nice course along with great greens......rough was long but playable.

Have played here a few times & never disappointed. Greens & fairways always very good and the challenge is good for all skill levels of golfer. An enjoyable layout to play.

Course was very busy--never saw a ranger--pace too slow

Only downside was course was very wet....had to keep carts on path.

Not their fault....but ALWAYS take away from golf when carts have to stay on paths.

the course is in great shape and has matured into one of the best courses I have played this year, even better than TPC Sawgrass

Teeing off as a twosome, my partner and I were joined on the fifth hole by one of GolfNow's representatives and his brother! I thoroughly enjoyed the company of the young men, but played an miserable round. While my partner and the rep from GN had a much easier time with the wet and hardened sand traps, the rep's brother and I simply failed to make a worthwhile shot.
We found a several soggy areas on the course and were puzzled as to the reasons they existed. The fairways were neat and trim but the rough was a bit long (at least 6") for my liking and and made errant (out of the fairway) shots very difficult to find.
I once possessed a handicap that would have made my round much more enjoyable, and must admit that this course simply kicked my butt! I know now that I definitely need lessons on wet bunkers, more accurate iron shots, and chipping.
I believe that playing this course from the gold tees will be a daunting task for anyone with a handicap of more than 15.
The rep's brother summed up the course best, when he said that the course is very fair to anyone with accuracy, while punishing errant shot makers without being completely unfair... that is of course, IF you can handle wet bunkers!
If the rough were cut back to 4" and the sand traps had been dry, the course would easily rate the full five stars.

The course was in very good condition. The bunkers were wet and packed. The greens had recently been fertilized or something. There were small granules all over the greens that effected putting.

I'm a fast player, so it played slow as there were a couple of foursomes holding up most of the course. But we did get in 18 holes in 4 1/2 hours. Beautiful course, fair for women.

This course is in great shape as it always is. We had a lot of rain the day before and course drained really well. Nice fun course with some nice views.

Absolutely Great! Makes me want to move there... I felt like I was playing at a PGA major without the crowd... Super fast but smooth rolling greens... If you can keep the ball in the fairway off the tee and have a good short game, you can attack... The rough will force you to layup or take chances you shouldn't take, so use and trust your short game... The greens are perfect... Very fast, very smooth, will hold shots and will let you score if you attack... I live in Arlington, TX and was in the area on business... I am already planning a golf trip back here with my golf buddies... This is a MUST PLAY COURSE!

Drove in from Ohio to meet some friends for a golf weekend. Played here the first day in the afternoon and really enjoyed the course. Pace of play was quick and we did not have to wait on any holes, even on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is in great shape for late summer and greens are great. Can't complain!

Tee to green the course was in great shape, the greens are a little slower than expected, but overall this course is one of the top public courses in the area. The pace of play was slow at times, but not a deal breaker.

Fairways in good shape. Greens were double cut and rolled the day we played. Still we're not very fast. Had a large time
