Great course except for the creek
This is a great course to play - the layout is very nice, especially with #9 and #18 coming up on opposite sides of the same pond towards the clubhouse and sharing an extended green. My only complaint was that on most of the front 9 and a couple holes on the back, the smell from the creek was excruciatingly bad, to the point where I had to back away from a couple shots to take a breath. That said, the course is worth the price for the round - however, if you have to choose between the two Fuzzy courses in the area, go with Champions Pointe.
Stay in the Fairway.
Very nice course and very well maintained. Greens were pristine, rolled very true, but were not very fast. The rough was very tough and can cost you a stroke.
A Jewel
Really a joy to play. I liked it well enough to replay the day I played. Zoysia fairways; greens rolled true.
This isn't the hardest course you'll ever play, but its a fair test.
Can't wait to play again.
Nice course but
This course was in great condition. It is not difficult except from the very back tees. We were nearly the only people on the course probably because it is way to expensive for what it offers. The older gentleman loading bags was great however the young men running the pro shop were more interested in talking to each other than waiting on us or anyone else. I would go back only if the prices were lowered through the week.
A Must Play
Always enjoy going to Fuzzy's Place... Champions Pointe and Covered Bridge... are in Great shape and Fun to Play..
Ya really need to "GO PLAY"
Player friendly course
Fuzzy's is always in great shape. The staff is always correous and attentive. The course is player friendly. Challenging, but doesn't beat you up. The view after you finish and hang out on the 19th hole is amazing.
course conditioning was nearly immaculate.
I rated course as easy primarily because it is fairly flat and hole lengths were very similar in relation to their par. I play short old man tees so could probably be tougher from back. Course is almost always well conditioned !
Challanging but Fun
We were excited to play what had been recommended as one of the best courses in the area. The course provides challenges for all skill levels. Keep your ball in the fairway and you're in great shape for scoring. If you hit it in the rough, the ball just seems to disappear. I used every club in the bag during my round.
My one disappointment with my visit is that the fairways had been aerated. That was not listed anywhere on the Golf Now site or mentioned at the course. I felt that the fairways in this condition should have warranted a reduced green fee or at least warning during the booking process. Maybe you would want to ask about course conditions when booking.
I will be back to play the course under regular conditions. Under regular conditions, I would recommend the course as a must play in the area. Once the fairways are in the same condition as the greens and other parts of the course, this will become one of my favorites I am sure.
great course to play, well maintained, good practice area
My wife and I was looking for a little day trip and settled on Covered Bridge. I had read about it and we wanted to play in that part of the state. We drove 2 1/2 hrs to the course and I must say from the time we arrived to the time we left the staff was very good. The course was in good shape, first time we had played on zoysia grass, greens were in good condition, we both prefer fast greens and these could have been a little faster but overall they were fine. There were no tricked up holes, every thing right in front of you from the tee. Fairways were wide and generous, approach shots were a little deceptive with the valley in front of the greens. We sailed thru the first nine in about 1 hr and 45 min after a foursome let us play thru on number 4. After a snack at the turn we moved at a good pace until we ran into a foursome of ladies at number 13 and they were a full hole behind the group in front of them, they played alright til they reached the green and then it took them forever to finish, we waited on almost every shot and never once did they even think of letting us play thru. This was the only drawback all day and if there was a ranger to move things along perhaps it would not have happened as he would have targeted this group. We would have finished in 3 hrs and 15 min and it would have been a perfect day. Will play this course again and perhaps a little faster. Although in a residential community the houses never come into play.
A must play!
The course was in pristine condition. Not only were the teeboxes and greens perfect, it was a very nice layout. You should play this course.
Fuzzy's Covered Bridge
Course is in very good shape for April 30. Sand traps well maintained. Greens rolled true. Pro shop staff cordial. Restaurant / grill staff very friendly. Men's regular yardage around 6400 yards. A great day!
Covered Bridge + Golf Now = A Great Time!
Beautiful course. The layout is open enough to keep you out of trouble yet challenging enough to keep you focused. The GPS feature on the golf cart is a huge asset!
I just love this course!!!!
2 hour trip for me, but we will return this year for sure.
Quality, quality, quality course.
Just needs to recover from rough winter. Beautiful!!!!
Very Nice Course!
Great course and golf outing experience. Snack bar staff very good & friendly. One bad note: greens were watered in the middle of our round, which caused us to get soaked on the 5th hole (no advance warning).
staff very friendly
always enjoy playing covered bridge. staff is amazingly friendly and helpful.
Wet and cold but fun day
review summary says it all, carts on paths typical Feb conditions,no maintenance had been done for a while.
played on Presidents Day
Course was in good shape for this time of the year, although requiring carts to be on the path was a bit much, played here before in worse conditions and carts were off the path. The bar area closed early and no place else to get eats or anything after the round.
