River Run Golf Course

Pace of course was very slow as the friendly staff told us.

Family of 3 were playing there on Thursday during our vacation. Not crowded at all (may be it is off season). Layout is great. Not a difficult course. We will go back next year.

Course was realy wet,due to poor drainage. Cart path only. long distance between #10 &11also Between #14&15. It was a ho hum course

asked for a medical due to a tear in my knee. Could not do it but allowed 5 people play in front of us. Which was fine because it took over 5 1/2 hours to play the round. Have played there many times before don't know if I'll go back any time soon. Cart path only don't see why I could not get at least a 90 degree.

All the fairways were covered in clumps of cut grass , you had to look underneath the clumps of grass. I’m Handicapped with walking problems, it was cart path only.

I play River Run often and have never experienced the wet conditions like what we just played in. Its been over a week since our last rain and you would have thought it rained the night before. Not my best day at River Run, conditions tough, rough was like US Open conditions due to lack of cutting the grass. It was cart path only and very slow, probably a large part in the cart path only requirement. The greens were the best part, rolled great.

Not a bad course layout, but very unfair for first time players. Too many blind shots and trouble not visible from tee. No GPS or picture of hole layout on scorecard either.

Excellent course, beautiful conditions, and perfect weather.

Enjoyed the round. Very nice track to play. A different course from every different tee box.

Played here 2 years in a row! Pace of play on the front 9 was extremely slow ? Marshalls needed to monitor the pace of play ! Otherwise, the course is enjoyable. It will present some challenges at times !

Course is in a low area and wet. No rain in over a week and still wet. Cart path only. Tees were in poor condition, many fairways had dead black spots and were not mowed lately. Greens were in good condition and firm. Would not rush back to play again.

Good course but very short only need drivers go 2 holes , not for low handicaps

Considering we played on a Hot Deal it was worth the money we paid. Nice layout and Course was in decent ahape but unfortunately had alot of standing water all over. So it was cart Path Only which really ruined the day. Fairways were wet in spots so it was the right decision. Greens were really slow but not in bad shape. Would give it a try again once it dried out a little.

I like the layout and people. My concern was it was hot and humid. Not water coolers until the 13th hole. In addition, several bunkers had at least 6 inches of water in them. I felt they should have been drained. Overall for the price $50, I felt it was fair.

When I arrived the staff could not have been more friendly. I booked as a single and showed up an hour before my tee time. When I checked in with the started he gave me a cart to get my bag out of the car and joined up with another single right away. The course is tight, but if you hit the shots you are trying to hit you can have a great time. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of playing there. We had a ton of rain the night before, but I can't wait to go back when it is dry. For the value this course can't be beat. I'm a single digit handicap and plan to play there many more times when I'm in the area for sure. PS - The pace of play was amazing. As a twosome we played in 3.25 hours on a Saturday!!!!
