River Run Golf Course

Enjoyed the day on River Run. It was a 3 1/2 hour round owing to it being a hot July day. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition.

Played River Run with a foursome yesterday. Employees we interacted with were very nice and friendly. Course was in very good condition and River Run is a nice layout with 5 par three holes among its 18. There are some scenic views, some 'open' holes, some tree lined holes, some water carries... just a good variety of golf holes. Some nits -- there were some spots were they seemed to have left the sprinklers on too long that were wet. There were not enough water jugs on the course. One water fountain at a restroom was broken and the halfway house with a restroom was locked.

Course was in good shape, teed off at 6:39 am, and the course was wide open. One group ahead of us, but they played fast so we never waited. Never saw the group behind us. Beverage cart never appeared until we were on 15th hole, but the restaurant was open for coffee when we made the turn. Nothing pre-made, just packaged breakfast foods (muffins, granola bars, etc). With that being said, we weren't there for breakfast, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Course was in great shape, greens ran fairly true. Few bumps and jumps on the green here and there. Fun course that I would play again for the price.

Very nice course with some challenging holes. Must stay on fairway and carry greens to score. Very slow pace of play, almost 5 hours on a Wed PM. No ranger to keep groups moving. Over 20 min to get a hot dog at turn. Would play again, good value via GolfNow.

Played after heavy rain so course was wet with cart path only. Good price on Golfnow. Nice layout with plenty of challenges but not overly difficult. Only disappointment was there was no cart lady and beverage machines ate our cash. Had to track down bar attendant at the turn to get some drinks.

Nice layout, good condition, greens were a bit bumpy but consistent and fair. Very good staff, great pace of play. Appreciate getting out early to beat the heavy storm by 15 minutes. Am coming back!

The Course is unique in that the front nine and the back are like two totally different courses. The greens can be fast but they roll true. There are a couple of reachable par fives. I love the last three holes, arguably the best finishing holes around. Last time I played it took me five hours, it was that slow and crowded.

Course is in really good condition. Greens are in great shape. Driving the ball in the fairway is key here. Rough is thick and often will cost you a shot. Really gorgeous & challenging layout. Will play again for sure.

We played after a rainy (3) day period so had to stay with cart path golf. Course was nice and staff was friendly. Would definitely go back.

Good shape, always enjoy playing here. Good value for under $40.

a little tight with houses and ob but will travel the 2 hours to play there again. not very long but challenging with tight holes and small greens. big tee boxes provide the potential for a lot of variety of tee shots

Any golf in January is good golf. River Run was in good shape. The staff was vary help and made the day most enjoyable.

Course in excellent condition and Bob and Tim were most friendly and helpful. This layout will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Highly recommended.

We play 2 rounds in OCMD every October and this is the 1st time we played River Run in 10 years. The course was in great shape and the staff was really nice. We will play River Run again next year.

Excellent value with golf now and course was it good condition.

I have golfed at all the Ocean City Golf Courses. This is one of my favorites. The price and quality of this course beats paying the ridiculous prices that a few of the other courses are charging.
The fairways are in fantastic condition. The greens were slow and they are mostly straight forward putts.

Very nice course,layout was good. Greens good, black tee boxes needed help.close to the beach easy to get to.

Greens aerated a week prior to play but was told they were recovering well - not true, greens were terrible. Fairways were soggy, squishy in many places and yet we have not had a lot of rain lately. Appeared they are over watering the fairways - no fairway roll and lots of fat shots.The rough was uncut for many days and very difficult to play out of. The above mentioned conditions gave the impression they don't care about the patrons this time of year, which is just before the fall package season. I have played here before and was very pleased with course conditions but not this time.
Seems like many courses in this area are doing the above.

I read some of the reviews before I played this course and still decided because it was $25 to give it a shot.. The food at the restaurant was not bad at all and the staff was awesome.. The course is another story.. Overall it was not a bad course except for: A couple of blind doglegs that sometimes make no sense, houses litterally 5 yards outside of the rough, small greens on most holes and a lot of divots in the fairways, and let's be honest- is this "really" a Gary player golf course??!!... the free range balls was defiantly a plus, but The "starter"and the "ranger" seemed to careless about helping you with getting a cart( just take whatever) where the range was or how to navigate a very "different" course layout...overall, I got to play 18 holes at 9am 15(ish) miles outside of the coastal highway and my group was done with enough time to get back to the beach....
