River Run Golf Course

Really enjoyed the par 3 holes. There were excellent water hazards that added some challenge to those holes. Great par 5 holes with nice dog legs to the right and left.

Really like course. Staff friendly. Only complaint is that 2 outings were ahead of us. directly ahead of was a fivesome (there were 2 of us). We were not aware it was outing and when we asked to play through they not only denied the request but were very discourteous. The staff should have sent us off the back nine first. The course was otherwise uncrowded.

One of my favorite courses. Always in good condition.

Course was in good condition considering it was late November. Weather was great for this time of year. However, clubhouse closed (check-in at real estate sales office), driving range closed (staff said it was too cold for them to pick up balls :-( ), and no seed/sand mixture on carts for repairing divots. I'm sure support is better in the spring/summer/fall. Open fairways...not a lot of trouble off the tees. Some water comes into play on several holes, but nothing too serious or intimidating.

Overall, a nice course.

Course was just awful. Looked like they had attempted something resembling aeration and made a mess of it. The back nine was slimy in a lot of places. Won't go back.

The greens were in great shape and the whole cours was maintained very well. It's a fun course to play. You have water to carry on two of the par threes and other water hazards. It's a very pretty course.

Greens and fairways in nice shape, very friendly staff, food is good.

The fairways and greens were in great condition, particularly considering that it had been raining and windy for three straight days. We got a great deal on golf now to play the course (79% discount), which was our primary reason for selecting the course. Only negative comment would be how many twosomes were stacked up behind us. Instead of grouping twosomes together, so that we didn't have twosome continuously come up, we had to continue to allow twosomes go through, which extended our foursomes round beyond 4 hours.

The golf pro is extremly friendly and is very accomidating.I feel the weather conditions were too severe to play and the course should have closed

The practice putting green and driving range area are underwhelming. The course was nice although it has about 4 holes that scream "target golf". Also, the rough right next to the fairway was very thick and long in places. There was no intermediate cut. A few times we had to spend a few minutes looking for balls that were only 2-3 feet from the fairway. Pace of play was disappointing. The 3some in front of us was rightfully busted for bringing their own beer onto the course.

The course was in immaculate shape. Plays long from the blue tees, even for a moderately long hitter. Greens were fast and true. Make sure you're warmed up before playing this course.

The Golf Course,staff and entire environment was outstanding. Unfortunately the round took at least 4-1/2 + hours and that was because a group or two just seemed liek they had all week-end to play 18 holes. I reported this to Pro Shop at the turn and they investigated,but there was NO marked improvement in the pace of play of the 2 groups in front of us. All in all though,a GREATGolf Value.

Played this course on a Friday and Monday and the pace of play was excellent. Would totally recommned to a friend

I paid $35 on golfnow.com -- so for that price I feel I got a tremendous deal. That said, the normal price was $75. For the condition of the course, I would have been a bit disappointed. There are some bear spots and the tee boxes could use a mower. The greens were in very good shape and they held approach shots. The course is great for all playing levels -- as always, the golfer needs to play the right tees. I'm on older 16 handicap and found the golf tees to be a good solid test.. The staff was very friendly and I could tell my business was appreciated. Like I said -- for $35 it was a helluva deal.

I have been a fan for years until there was a issue several years ago with faulty equipment and oil leaks. We took this off our outing rotation because of the conditions. We will now put it back on in 2014 - it has come back to its former beautiful state.

Course well maintained. Fairways and greens in good shape.Played from Gold tees and played at about 6000+ yards.Beautiful landscaping!!!

Played on 9/20 and 9/21 and payed 85.00 and 95.00 dollars course was in ok condition and pretty well maintained The only real issue was that the rates should be in the 45 to 60 dollar range since it want in good enough condition to warrant the higher fees. The greens were much better the first day and the second day the hole locatioins were in the same places and they did not cut the greens we teed off at 845 and the fist 4 or 5 holes still had dew on them so they were not cut. I would go back the layout is very nice and the staff was friendlybut would not pay more than 60.00

I was not going to play because of other reviews but I was so happy we played. The course was in very good condition and such a great Atmosphere!
You really had to think your way around the course.
The people at the course were around nice and great people.
Very worth it!
