National Golf Club

This is my new favorite course! Private course open to the public so get in while the getting is good. The clubhouse is undergoing renovation so I imagine who once that's complete its back to members only. There were a couple spots in the fairways where It's bare or a crowded with crab grass The bunkers need help but the superintendent kindly warned us in advance that they're working on it. Overall great experience and highly recommended. I would like to join once the club house innovations are complete .

It’s a course in transition with new management and a great layout. I really enjoyed playing here - pace of play was great, greens were in good shape and relatively fast. Bunkers need work but the superintendent warned me about this ahead of time. I hit 4 iron into a lot of the par 4s and had comfortable distances into the green. Features some fantastic par 3s, including the 18th which is an elevated green next to the clubhouse.

I think the driving range could be re-configured so that stray balls don’t land on the 10th fairway.

Would/will recommend.

Very nice layout. Free range balls. Good food at the restaurant. Bunkers are unplayable but everything else is good.

Private course turning to some public tee times to bring in additional funds.

You can tell this place when funded is a stellar course. The greens played great. Fairways played good, rough, tee boxes and bunkers need the attention.

Overall for a Hot deal I would definitely make the drive to play this track again.

Played here through tee off. Course us very challenging with well protected snall greens. Once your on the greens are not difficult to read though. We played on a wet day but the course drained well and we were not effected by the weather very much. The sraff was very friendly. It looks like they are soing some renovations to make things better. Overall, a great day.

Course was in rough shape. Course condition was far worse than the online photos. For a private club it was a let down. Houses that line the course aren’t well cared for either (unmowed back yards) so if your hit OB, you might not find it even if it just barely went in. Range balls were junk. There wasn’t any starter or free waters (something I expected of a private club). Throughout the course there were a few crazy holes that balls can fall into and you may never see them again. It happened to me twice where the shot should have been playable and then I found some crazy hole and I wasn’t able to find my ball.

Meh....don't waste your time playing this cow pasture. The only thing decent was the greens. The pro shop is in a little room similar to a closet. The club house looks like it's under construction. I was very disappointed

Course was in good shape, few of the tee boxes were a little bare but all in all a great track. Layout is good greens are in good shape fairways are solid all the way around.

The course design is super requiring good decision-making particularly from the tee. A lot of the tee shots are blind. Conditions were good for the price paid (~$50 with cart). Greens weren’t particularly fast. However they rolled true. Clubhouse closed - appeared to be undergoing major renovations. Found on GolfNow night before - first tee time of the day with three other GolfNow, day before bookings. Would definitely play again

I played this course over the last year or so, until it gained new management, the club has grown leaps and bounds. Friendly staff, good rates and a great course/layout.

By far the best course we have played in the area at a very affordable price. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were pristine aside from 1 or 2 holes. Course layout is another positive and makes for some fun shots and scoring opportunities. The only negative were the bunkers but they warned us ahead of time that the recent rainfall had taken its toll on them. The staff was super friendly and made the round very enjoyable. Overall, the course was in great shape for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back.

Cart path only always is a hassle, but other than that it was great.

First time playing this course. It rained a lot the prior day so it was cart path only and the bunkers were pools, but that's completely outside of the course's control. The staff was extremely friendly even more than most courses, the range was accessible and the practice greens were roomy and also conveniently located. I wish the range had yardage markers, but that's just a minor detail. Was it the nicest course I've played in the area? No, but it certainly wasn't the worst. Was it an outstanding value and did I feel like I got well more than my money's worth? Absolutely. Excited to see how this course and club take shape as the further renovations continue.

This course was a great value for the money. Greens were pristine and the layout was excellent. Its not a walking course but for a golf now hot deal, it was a steal. Its been some time since i’ve been on a green that putted so true….a joy ..i will gladly play this course again..staff was super helpful and i enjoyed myself immensely…take a shot, it will be worth your time to check this course out

My friends and I have played most of the DC area courses, and this was one of my favorites. Outside the bunkers (soaked by all the recent rain) the course was in great shape, and by DC prices a great deal for the money. The holes were challenging but fair, and we had a lot of fun overall.
