National Golf Club

This course was just nice. Greens, tee boxes, fairways, rough -- all nice. The sand traps were kinda rough, but we've gotten a lot of rain recently. Everything else was great (especially the included range balls!). We had a great time.

Solid layout but a little short for single dogits (6700). Great greens and solid fairways - bunkers, tee boxes, and rough need some love. Club house renovations are looking great. All in all very fund round and good value. Understand that they are under a recent ownership shift and the improvement items mentioned above are on their radar.

This course is entering into it’s better days for certain. Strong challenging course layout with a few birdie opportunities! Built with more dog leg lefts than the traditional Maryland style courses. The tree lines provide great viewpoints to help follow your shot & doubles as plenty of shade to stay cool. Staff is super friendly & I’m looking forward to coming really soon & potentially becoming a member of this course in the near future. Greens are in good condition & the etiquette of proper golf is clearly well respected at this course.

Had an afternoon tee time ended up being by myself, upon arrival with the renovations and everything the signs could’ve been a little bit more helpful and directed me to the pro shop. But once there the management and staff were very helpful and very polite directing me and giving me information about the course.

There is lots of renovations going on. So at the moment the clubhouse doesn’t really feel like a clubhouse.

I played after 3 inches of rain had fallen the day before I was instructed on hole number five was closed a low lying area they were a little bit of issues, there bunkers definitely need some help but overall the course layout is fun it’s definitely a shooters course playing it a second time would be very helpful with my score. Clubing correctly on each hole off the tee and knowing your landing areas is definitely helpful.

After all the rain the greens were slow but I thought fair and in good shape

I thought there could’ve been some trees cut out in line of sight from tee boxes that would definitely help playability

This course does run through a residential area so watch your tee shots

Paid 75 dollars when it should have been no more than 40 course conditions were rough. Greens were very slow. The tee boxes were full of crab grass and weeds. No bev cart!!!! No water on the course. Very disappointed :(

Played the national for the first time. Great layout, fun holes . Challenging but plenty of chances to score . Conditions were great . The staff is super friendly and inviting. Had a chance to talk to some members, they are really nice as well . Really fun place to play golf . The clubhouse is going to look really nice when the renovations are finished. Bunkers could use some work,but looks like they are in the process of doing that as well. Overall great course and staff . Will definitely be back! Thank you.

Course was in pretty good shape for August . I had a great time and enjoyed my round.

I used to be a member and played the course for the first time in 10 years. The place is undergoing a renovation so don't expect a lot in the short term. There's no real restaurant and no real pro shop shop right now. Everything's a mess. As far as the course goes, the greens were fine, the fairways were acceptable but the bunkers were a disaster. They were mostly full of mud except for the two on number nine that can be seen from the road. There was pretty white sand in those. I don't I'll go back until the renovation's complete.

The staff and members at National Golf Club were some of the most friendly and accommodating folks I’ve ever met. The new management is taking much pride in bringing both the course, practice areas, and clubhouse back up to top tier shape. Also don’t let the yardage fool you, the layout of this track will force you to use every tool in the bag. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and highly recommend anyone looking to join a family friendly club to consider National as an option!

Myself and two other buddies played this course the first time after finding it on GolfNow and we'll definitely be back.

The course and the clubhouse is going through a renovation but we were still able to have a great time and played some fun golf.

This course has some holes that provide a challenge but also some holes that help you regain some confidence. There's a par 3 on the back nine that goes from hill to hill that allows you and some friends to have some fun with it. The water on the course really allows you to test your power. Some of the holes are really open and some are very narrow so really provides you an opportunity to shape your shots or just play your power game. The course is going through a renovation but you barely notice it as you go.

The clubhouse, also going through a renovation, looks like its going to be super nice when it's done. The renovations also didn't stop us from enjoying a snack at the turn or a few drinks at the bar.

The staff from the pro shop to the clubhouse were all super nice and friendly and helped guide us around a place we never been. The GM even took a few minutes of his time to check in on us to see how we were enjoying the day.

This course is definitely for anyone that wants a causal round or wants to go out and challenge themselves. You can't beat the price with everything that's included, we'll definitely be back.

Got to meet the GM and he’s a heck of a guy! The staff was super helpful and informative. The pace of play was great. The course is undergoing some renovations right now but that did not affect my gameplay. When those renovations are done the course is going to look great. Also, I broke 90 today for the first time which was great, especially when coming back to the beautiful 18th hole. Had a wonderful time
