Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Better courses available
Better courses available to play for less been coming to Orlando for 9 years now and have played a lot of golf over here with my wife we didn’t like this course the greens were in poor condition and there was no bar open for food or drinks
Worth 30 dollars
No coffee, no snacks, no bar, no food
no beer cart. Most tee boxes were dirt, most greens were dirt. Not worth 42 bucks
Hunter Creek
Mid level course. Lots of others that are just as good at a better price.
Hunter's Creek
Pace of play was very slow. Many if not all tees were in poor condition as were many greens.
We forgot GPS on the cart and when we realized and called the course, it was missing.
Needs help
The fairways are for the most part in good shape, the holes are interesting and have lots of character, tight but fair (as long as you don’t spray it much); but most of the greens are in bad shape and a couple are in horrible to unplayable shape, their tee boxes also need lots of work as it’s hard to find a decent one with a flat lie.
I wish them well, as if they’d fix the tee boxes and greens it’d be a heck of a track.
Course is in bad shape .. not worth the money
Course in bad shape.. no cart service ..greens are in rough shape..
One of my favorite layouts in Orlando.
Tee boxes could be in a little better shape but overall course is in great shape, a few greens damaged but I'm confident this is temporary. Great course for your driver.
Ive always enjoyed playing here. Too bad the greens have not recovered to where they use to be but the price was great and im glad i came out ..thx
Fair Course But Needs WORK
HC used to be a great track but it has diminished over time due to the lack of care and poor ownership. This course has so much potential it’s ridiculous.
Fairways are pretty good all around, but tee boxes are trash. Greens are hit or miss as some have suffered from the lack of maintenance.
Clubhouse is dated and has poor amenities compared to that of other courses in the area. Another area that needs rebuilt and remarketed to the HC community.
Course is not worth as much as they are advertising. Need to perform some work if you want to value the course as that price.
If you’re looking to get out and just hit balls and not care about course conditions and the roll of the greens, then this course is for you.
You get what you pay for
Hard to beat $25 for good with cart. The layout is good. Plenty of options for tee boxes friendly staff but limited pro shop.
Traps were very poor. Greens barren and sandy on several holes. Fairways were sparse with grass. All in all the course needs work but if you want to get out and play a good layout, it’s worth $25 but no more.
Very Dry
This course is great for players like me that want to get out and practice as it is very slow. The course is very dry and the greens are covered in crabgrass. I fortunately stayed out of the bunkers which is good because they are extremely underkept. I would play here again, but only for practice and I probably would not bring friends and family for a round.
Not. Bad
Everything was nice. My only complaint was the traps had grass growing in them and were not kept. Everything else was great. Nice fairways and greens. Staff was great.
Overpriced
Pace of play was great due to lack of golfers. Tee boxes
are fair to poor, fairways are good, greens are poor to fair with some crabgrass and bare spots on all of them. The bunkers are not maintained and many have grass growing in them. It's a shame because this could be a really nice course. If you can play there for $20 or less, then I would consider it, but if you're on vacation and looking for nice Florida courses, skip this one.
Hunters eeek
Tough layout, terrible conditions with bumpers and greens. Bunkers were either grass and weeds or dirt. Very poor. Greens were bumpy with weed patches throughout. Won’t go back
Great course
great course. Quick and challenging. If the course is crowded pace of play can be over 5 hours but if you’re lucky enough to get out when it’s empty, you can fly through your round. I play this course at least 10-15 times a year and it has its moments of greatness and then it’s sad moments. Overall I’d take my chance out here over the over priced courses in this area.
Great, Challenging Long Course
Hunter's Creek Golf Course measures about 7,450 yards from the tips. It's the second longest course in Florida behind Islesworth. There are 5 tee boxes on each hole, so you can choose the difficultly you want. The course is tight with trees or water on either side of many fairways. There are water carries off the tee especially from the back tees. The course is a great challenge of your golfing skills for a very reasonable price. The pace of play is usually very good. The Pro Shop will tell you the best times.
Hunter’s Creek
The conditions were appalling, bunkers were full of grass, greens were patchy and weed ridden, obviously lack of maintenance. Shame really as the course layout is really good. 3rd visit in 3 years and really gone downhill. Can’t see the course surviving unless big improvements are made.
