Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

I Recommend This Course
Great Day for Golf
Nice course that is pretty well maintained. There were some bunkers that were unmaintained which was odd but the fairways were in pretty good shape and greens also. Would prefer shorter fairways and roughs but it is what it is. Decent value for the money. Driving range was not that great. Supposedly mats only, which is not ideal.

Because I booked with Golf now, I could not get a rain check for nine holes

Horrible course
Right off the bat, the staff was very arrogant towards my group and I, threatening to call cops on us and shut off our carts because we even started our round. All tee boxes were very worn and not kept to high standards. I was very disappointed trying this new course out and will not be returning
