About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Always good
For little golf course you can’t beat this one.The place is plush.
Exceptional Staff
We golfed with our 2 grandsons and the staff could not have been more accommodating.
Watch out for the Goode droppings
Geese have invaded the greens. Had to constantly sweep a putting lane for myself. Maybe it was the rain for the past fay that prevented the staff from cleaning the greens. Just need to get close to the pin...
Always great
Have played this course several times and have always found everything up to snuff. Have also submitted several reviews on how I enjoyed playing here. Very friendly staff my only issue is slow pace of some players. Highly recommended

My favorite place to play
I always have a great time at Squirrel Run. Nice and shady for those hot days. Course was in great shape even after all this hot and dry weather. I highly recommend this course for the average player.
Very enjoyable
Have played this course several times and have always been well satisfied.. my only concern is pace of play. Some of the slower players should allow quicker players to go ahead, unfortunately, some of these players do not take this into consideration otherwise this is a great golf course and kdos to the staff.
Getting out for some fun
Over all the course was in good shape. I Choose to play the White Tees because I had a new golfer with us. The placement of the tee's basically turned the course into a pitch and putt. Not worth $30.00 from the White tee's. Tee times were to close which made people in my group stressed. Because of that it took some of the fun away from the day.
Great again
Have played this course several times and always enjoy golfing here. Have sent in a several highly recommended reviews and this is another very favorable rating. My only concern turns out to be at times, the slow pace of play, however, it is understandable because of the popularity of this great course. Kudos to the entire staff.
