About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Electronic Level
It is a very nice course and I believed it to be well groomed. Staff are all great.
Best around
It’s a little out of the way from Cape Cod but it’s worth the drive every time.
Just a Gem
Rehabbing from recent knee surgery and found the perfect remedy...great place to start and actually beyond expectations...course conditions are close to a 10 out of 10...absolutely pristine...Just what the doctor ordered and then some...Dave and the rest of the staff are even better rated than the course conditions if you could believe me...kudos to the couple who recently just aced the same hole on back to back days...love ^ya^ Squirrel Run...Great place for a date with a wife or girlfriend...
Great Little Course
We really enjoy playing this course. It's in great shape, moved along pretty good and staff is always polite and friendly.
Perfect evening!
My parents and I really enjoyed everything about Squirrel Run, it was a great evening out there. We’re newbies and the course was beautiful but manageable and the staff was very friendly. We will be back for sure!
Squirrel Rum
Play moved right along. We were early but announced ourselves and were allowed to play as several holes ahead were open. Greens ran straight and were in fair shape. Ranger was seen on the course but no issues
Eager to play again
Have always enjoyed playing this course but it is so busy that I have not been able to play as often as I would like. Very friendly staff and course always well maintained. Will continue to play this course based on availability
Early season and cold weather course problems
The course needs some warm weather and maintenance to become player friendly. I've enjoyed the course during the summer in the past when the maintenance crew has had a chance to do their work.
Squirrel Run is a nice in between course. That is, you can play there if you're a beginner or a more accomplished player.
Summer League
Every Tuesday in summer, I join a group of women to play 9 holes at Squirrel Run. This league allows me to improve on my skills and have a great social experience.
Worst customer service possible
The course itself is fine however if you want to be treated like a decent human being please go elsewhere. We were started 30 minutes late which was understandable due to a frost delay. Then while on the green we were rudely told to hurry it up and move off because the green needed to be dried. When explaining we were on our second shot and that we were clearly moving with people right in front of us, the groundskeeper said well I don’t care I have to do this so I can leave. That hardly seems like my problem after paying for a round of golf which was started over a half hour late. My friend went in to buy one single ball he thought was cool and was rudely asked “ oh you don’t play golf much do you, you must lose balls all the time or something.” Meanwhile he used only that ball without losing a single ball the entire 18 holes. What a horrible experience.
Great Executive course!
This is a little treasure - great place to practice your short game! Plenty of water - pretty little course / fun!

We had a great time on the golf course. Course was in great shape. Par 3s and 4rs but not easy. A challenging course. We shall return

Worth the Money
I would call this course a hidden gem. It’s a par 57 18 hole course that is forgiving and challenging depending on the tee and pin placement. Greens are fast and course is well maintained. Local favorite
Squirrel Run golfing experience
A beautiful day to play golf, Squirrel Run is a great course to improve some skills with your irons and hybrid clubs. The course was in great shape, as were the greens. Had an enjoyable time with some good friends walking this course.
