About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Squirrel Run C C
The course is challenging for golfers of all ages. From youth to beginners to senior. The layout is easy to follow and the course is always in good condition. The staff is top notch. Everyone is extremely helpful, accommodating and sociable. The value for your money can’t be beat.

Not intimidating for beginners. Fun for all and a killer value. Also beautiful course and the cart path had tons of shade for a hot day
Super
Have played this course several times and always enjoy the challenge it offers. I find it to be a super course as I’ve only been playing for two years and provides me the opportunity to improve all facets of the game. At times we do run across some slow pokes and on many occasions no one in front of them,but they don’t believe in allowing you to play through.. very friendly staff.
Great Par 3 course
Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Pace on the front 9 slow due to the high number of golfers but many of them stopped after 9 leaving a fine pace for the back 9.
There are many challenging holes on this course.

Played with friends, course was in great condition, weather was perfect. a great day!

You love golf ?
If you do, you will not find better golf course conditions than at Squirrel Run. And the people who run the course like Dave Moore and Ralph (don’t know his last name) are the best. I guess my only problem is the from time to time there is slow play whether you play alone or with others.
However these slow play conditions are prevalent on every course in the world. So just get used to it as it will never change.
Another Great Day at the Run
Was paired up with three regulars, Joe, Lenny and Bob, three great guys to play golf with!!
Weather was overcast and sometimes a bit cool, but great weather for golf.
Course is in great shape
This is a great course on which to improve your short gsme.
Great course to play in super shape. It was quite discouraging about the pace of play but will come again
Best place
Absolute best place to play. Great for beginners or advanced . Me and my wife play here all the time on mondays, beautiful course with par 3s and 4s.friendly staff with some great food as well
