About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Great day at the Run
Had a great day golfing at Squirrel Run, course was busy, but pace of play was good considering. Wife and I were paired up with another couple from the local area, think everyone had a good time.

Great shape and use most of your clubs in your bag
Out of towners
Have played this course many times and have always enjoyed playing here. Just being a hacker it’s always challenging to even getting a par because of the layout. Highly recommended. Staff always very helpful and courteous
Conditions are beautiful
Love the course. Especially the conditions and the layout . In additionn the personnel in the golf shop and in particular HeadvPro, Dave Moore are very accommodating and friendly.
Drawbacks~~~~ only one. It appears that the majority of players do not know nor understand the meaning of the words, play fast. Either that, or they are unable to play and care about who they are holding up.

course is in great shape. greens just aerated so putting was a little inconsistent. Still a real value for the money.
Beautiful course
It is a beautiful course well kept, some holes are are very challenging but overall it is a great course. I would think about bringing plenty of water due to the water station doesn’t work at all. On this course you need to be well hydrated.
Good par 3 course
Good par 3 course with a very fast pace of play. No complaints just several similar holes on the back 9.

Great Senior Course
As a senior have only been playing golf two years and really enjoy golfing here. Yardage is perfect for my type of golfing. I always look forward to coming to this course, staff always friendly and grounds well maintained
Fun course
Terrific combination of challenge, layout and beauty for golfers at all levels. You won't need your driver, but you need to drive well. Lots of fun.
