About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Happy Acres
This course gets a lot of play, but, never shows wear and tear. The management is awsome. Kudos to the pro David and the rest of the staff. It's always like golfing with friends!
I love the variety from short to long holes.
We were the first ones on the course and everyone had an enjoyable time. It was real cold and a slight wind but still managed to have a close game for all of us.

60 degrees in Dec. course is in excellant shape. Played well. Life is good.

Have played this beautifully maintained course, and getting the $14 fee for 18 holes and a new cart was great!
Great Course...Well Maintained
Enjoyed playing this course. Played the white tees but would play the blue on my next visit. Interesting layout with sand and water.
The staff is extremely friendly as well as the other golfers we spoke with.
Squirrel Run consistently good
We enjoy playing at SR for its reasonable price and good conditions. It's not a stuffy golf club but a friendly place.
We drive twice as far to come here because of the polite and easy going staff.

Nice Par 3 Course
My wife and I played, she just started playing this year and the course is a great layout for her as a new golfer. I also enjoy the course as it allows me to get practice with my irons and short game. The course is in good shape and reasonably priced. Because of the ease of the layout you may encounter other new golfers which at times may slow the pace of play. Staff is friendly and course exhibits a relaxed atmosphere.
Nice course
Great shape for a heavily played course. I played here with my teenage boys and their friend. Perfect starter course, just keep your head on a swivel, errant shots are not uncommon. All in all a fun good value course, nice folks in the clubhouse.
Very kid friendly atmosphere
Great place to bring my 7 yr old golf addict....staff and golfers were very friendly and supportive of him!
As for the course, great shape , challenging greens! More rolls than a bakery. No such thing as a gimme there.

Always like playing this Par 57 layout with a nice variety of hole lengths. Greens and staff are always always great.
Nice course for older players
I enjoyed the course but felt it was small and lay out tight. Always seamed the someone was running you down.
