About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Beauty is tainted
First time playing. Upbfrom Florida where I pay many par 3 and executive courses and this course looked great! Book a time off hot deals which looked like a great value. Got there early as I usually do when playing a course for the first time and met very friendly staff. Pro pointed me to putting green and told me he would let me know as soon as I could tee off. Came out and advised we could get off a little early. Ended up getting behind a group of woman walking which I did not feel would be a problem. Ranger came up and said he had someone he was going to add to our twosome. From the 2nd hole on we had to wait at least 5-10 minutes before teeing off each hole. I saw ranger at east 4 times talk to the group in front but nothing ever changed. There seemed to be more talking than golf playing. "Ready Golf" was not understood by these women and their golf etiquette was terrible hanging out on the green after play and stopping to talk to other women players between tboxes. It was disappointing to see that as good as I think they cared for the course the women in front of us did not fix the landing marks on the greens, did not fix their digits in the fairways and on the tboxes.
Can’t go wrong
Have played this course many times and I am always well pleased with the conditions of this course. It is my type of golfing, at 86 it fits me to a tee. Short& long holes to my liking. Course always in pristine condition. This executive course is not for scratch golfers. Always looking forward to play this course. Great guys on the staff.
Great par 3 course
First time playing a par 3 and I was pleasantly surprised with the course layout. Some hole distances were repetitive but overall I was very happy with the course

I have been playing this course for years and it has always been in amazing condition. The course continues to be in supreme condition.
Gem
Great little course to sharpen your approach game. Half the tees had me hoping for a hole in 1, though the distances provided didn’t remotely match gps or rangefinder so tough to read. Greens were in great shape and ran true, ones near water were loaded with goose shut but not enough to stop me from coming back.
Been playing here so long I can’t remember when I started. Playing with my grown children now, and we love it.
The course is well kept, greens perfect, fairways groomed, the grounds immaculate.
Always fun.
18 holes in 2 hours.

The course is in very good condition. The greens are good it shot but it’s a good place to learn the game.
