About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Fun, Friendly Round on a Challenging Course
Had a great day at this small but well-designed course. Accuracy off the tee definitely helps here, and a few greens were surprisingly tough to read, adding to the challenge. Met some new people who were patient and friendly while I found my rhythm again. A fun and relaxed outing overall!
Great conditions with challenging pin placements
Hidden Gem of a course! First time playing there and will definitely be back. Course will help to improve my short game and putting; really enjoyed it despite the sweltering heat!

Squirrel Run is well maintained. The greens are challenging. It is a great course to practice your short game. The staff is great; very friendly and helpful.

Pace was slow to start. Conditions are excellent. Staff is friendly.
Great par 3 course
Fun and challenging par 3 course, with two par 4 holes, that is well maintained throughout. We played from the blue tees and I got to use my driver on the first hole, but mostly irons thereafter. I don’t know how accurate are yardage plaques, several seemed to be off (we didn’t have a range finder so I can’t be sure on that).
Nice par 4 course
Playing at the blue tee would be perfect practice all clubs for ladies.
