Eagle Glen Golf Course
About
Eagle Glen Golf Course is one of central Michigan's best public courses. It has a traditional links-style layout reminiscent of the great courses of Scotland. The wide-open landscape is dotted with natural wetlands and tall native grasses. The layout features large, rolling greens that are framed by strategically placed bunkers and gently sloped mounds. The greens can be tough but there is usually ample room for recoveries and the generous landing areas give high handicappers a chance too. There are many water hazards that come into play but one of the most difficult elements of the course is the wind. It's a layout that requires both accuracy and proper club selection. The sixth hole is one of the Eagle Glen's prettiest but also one of its toughest. This par 3 demands a challenging carry over a pond with very little room for error.

Behind the 2nd green. Medium length, tight par 5. Severe slopes in green. Views get even better than this Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

The third tee. Tight shot. You can catch one of those tree limbs if your not careful. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

The fourteenth green. Second longest par 4 on the course. Downhill about 30 feet. Nice view of the farm just beyond and it goes to show how well this course blends into the Mid-Michigan countryside Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019
Great Value
Very good value. Course has some interesting holes, particularly off the tee - short Par 4s make club selection off the tee interesting, and interesting angles make fairway location important. Course is always in great condition.
The courses always immaculate and the staff is always friendly!
Always loved this place.
I’ve been playing here for decades now and it’s always been great. I think this time was the best shape the course has been since I started playing here.
Busy Tuesday
Everything 5 stars. Course was in great shape and staff was very friendly. My only complaint was the slow pace of play, but I gave 3 stars since the course was quite busy today. Definitely would play again.
Great layout!
Hidden gem in mid-Michigan, course is always well maintained and challenging but fair! Always love playing this course!!
First time at this course; amazing experience
First time playing this course... amazing. The layout of the course is pretty cool, but nothing really says “challenge me,” you can afford to be aggressive on this course. I shot my best round ever here. The course was in great shape for April golf, greens did play a little fast but nothing I couldn’t get used to. I do love the views on the course and I got a great vibe. Great round, great course, highly recommend.
Magnificent
This course is always well maintained and an excellent shape.
Up north gem
Great links style course. Don’t miss the fairway, the heather is very tough!
Heather
We spent a lot of time looking for our golf balls in the too high rough
I know we shouldn’t be there in the first place
It should be cut back some
But we will return
Wonderful experience
First time playing Eagle Glen. I heard about it from Michigan Golf Live. First thing I see when I pull in is the attendant coming with a golf cart. I was early for my tee time, and with no one in front of me, they let me go off by myself. The course is in great condition. The greens were a bit slow, but I was able to adjust to them quickly. Pin placements on certain holes were challenging, but overall fair. Unfortunately, I found myself behind couple foursomes I could not get past, so the back nine was a bit slow. Overall, I had a good round and experience. I would definitely go back if in the area.
