Oak Quarry Golf Club

Course is in excellent shape. Both nine’s are tough, Must keep your tee shot in play or you will struggle. On the green, make sure you are aware of the bigger hill that the green is situated on as it will affect the break. Overall , it’s a fun course to play.

Played close to 2pm. From 9 was great, back 9 was slow. Great overall day and BEAUTIFUL course! Will play again. Greens ran true, huge plus!

The course was in great shape and the peace of play were great. We didn't wait at amg of the holes and never felt pushed by the group behind us. The practice area was really nice, the driving range hits off grass and there are seperate chipping and putting greens. Staff was great and the starter was able to get me out a little early. The carts were amazing, touchscreen GPS, music, and scoring.

Just a heads up, when you tee off you are out for the duration of the round, the turn is on the course and you will not see the club house again until the 19th hole.

For the Management, can you put coolers of water on the course, there were no hydration stations on the course at all. It is getting warm, and having a way to fill a water bottle would be appreciated. The snack shack only offered to fill my bottle in the bathroom.

The place was in nice shape but the greens where not rolled so they were slow and could not predict the break like I would usually.

I think it is a well-maintained course over all but it is very pricy for what it is.

Overall, our group enjoyed our round at one of the most beautiful courses in Southern California, but having played there before, it was somewhat disappointing as the course was not in great condition for an 11am Sunday tee time. Despite arriving an hour early to tune up, I felt rushed to the tee because I had to wait over 30 minutes for range balls which apparently were in short supply due to a lack of picking. (We later found out 5 employees had failed to show for work that day). Regardless, we got off and the course layout was as spectacular as usual. The windy conditions were somewhat expected given the area - no big deal. The conditions, however, were not great: Fuzzy greens that were uncharacteristically slow, long rough, unraked sand. (Probably other symptoms of a light crew on hand).

Anyway - highly recommend... just keep your fingers crossed the staff doesn't have too good a time the night before!

Travelling from Canada, we heard about this course being so good and we were completely p’ed off. There was 3 groups waiting on every tee! There was absolutely No Marshall! No half-way open! The greens were like shag rug and the holes hadn’t been repositioned it looked like in 5 days. So the cups were so bad the holes were overgrown! No cart lady. We were dying for water! Pathetic charge $10 for tiny range balls that were 20 years old and full of dirt. There was a 6-some playing 3 groups ahead of us. And we paid $120 per player for a 1:52 tee time that went off at 2:10 late. Honestly we should get at least half our money back if not all! Brutal!

Green was very slow.

Other than that, it is a gem.

I couldn’t find anything wrong with this course. Greens in immaculate shape and well as the fairways. I’d play here anytime.

No driving range balls or access when I went.

You cannot take your cart to your car, so you have to carry your clubs 100yds +. Poor treatment of customers!

The course is ok, but no mention it has just been spiked and sanded, so the greens, ~40% of the game - were horrible. A partial refund would be in order.

The club needs new management!!

I played here before and I was really looking forward to playing this wonderful golf course. Unfortunately, we pick a bad time to play. It looks like the greens were aererated not too long ago, and the greens were terrible. The greens were very bumpy!
