Oak Quarry Golf Club

Very good round at Oak Quarry. Course is in great shape! As a twosome behind multiple foursomes I thought pace of play would be an issue. Fortunately we played behind a large group of Korean players that played very quickly. Pace of play was awesome!

Only negative was that we weren’t able to order food over the phone. Tried multiple times to call with no success. The phone number on Oak Quarry’s website goes to an answering service and not the golf course. It was very annoying. This course charges way too much to fall short with something so simple. They also seriously need to hire some cart girls.

This course is always an amazing course, from the condition to the views, absolutely worth the green fees.

Most people only care about course conditions, and Oak Quarry at this time of the year is in the best shape. Everything else about our round was unacceptable. 12:15pm tee time in which we actually teed off at 12:50pm. We played 14 holes in 5 hours before quitting. 8 minute gaps between tee times. They've stacked, packed, and racked everyone up like an LA muni. Revenue is what their after. No refreshment cart. No water on the course AT ALL! They should be sued and probably lucky on a 100 degree day that someone didn't come down with a heat condition. The "halfway house" is after the 11th green. Again, if you are looking for good conditions, play a round on a Wednesday at 7am. On weekends, avoid at all costs unless you like spending 7 hours for a round of golf...bring your own EVERYTHING.

I’ll start with saying the course is beautiful, but teeing off 45 mins after our scheduled tee time is just unacceptable, especially for a 9:44am tee time. It ended up being a 6 hour round. The pace of play was so egregious that multiple groups in front of us and behind us called it a day early, yet our round was still 6 hours.

Took almost 5 hrs to complete the round and started early before 7am. Felt bad for those playing with normal tee times. Course is in great shape and fun to play.

Great course , staff was awesome . Bartender Saturday morning was helpful and friendly , told us about all the deals and specials for father day weekend . Will definitely play again .

Absolutely beautiful course with a picturesque layout. The course was in great shape and it was a joy to play. The fairways were in great condition, greens were a touch furry, but they rolled very true. The pace of play was slow, but it was a Saturday afternoon, and was to be expected. The course has a great layout, and doesn’t have any gimmicks. The course itself is not extremely difficult, but with the wind blowing it will be a test for every skill level of golfer. The carts are very comfortable, but they have the gps built in, so be prepared to get frustrated with the speed control system and the restricted areas. I will definitely play this course again when I am in Southern California again.

Oak Quarry is a great course, fairways are nice, greens are true and the pace is great

Course is in excellent conditions. They need improvement on the bunkers. Several bunkers are dry and hard that can lead you to injury if you are not familiar

Overall it's a great course. Need to have beverage carts and snack shack needs to open earlier.

Our group played behind a foursome that played at a snail’s pace. Five and a half hours to play 18 holes. Other than that the only issue was the closure of the snack bar on the course for refreshments. The golf course is very scenic and the condition was very good.

All goid but the golf fee. Golfnow price was 179, while I found out later through website that the fee was 138. Your rate was $41 more per person. So for 8 players, you charge $328 more. Very disapointed.

The GPS has too much control of the cart. On some holes the GPS makes it cart path only which means you have to walk with 3, 4, or 5 clubs to your ball and then back to the cart. If I could I'd walk the entire course with a push cart but it's pretty hilly with a lot of distance between holes.

The best part is that the high price keeps the course in great condition and uncrowded. It's slowly becoming my favorite course.
